Very nice shaker! Got this for salt as my current one broke. It has options to seal it shut, smaller holes, bigger holes or completely open top; just gotta rotate the lid. Easy to move and use. Yes, salt does get built up in the lid part after use (twist the cap off and a bit off salt to falls out) as I’ve seen in other videos, but that has happened with my other kinds of shakers so it’s nothing I’d deduct stars for as overall this does what I need it to. It’s big but comfortable to hold, not too bulky. And I like that you can see the salt/whatever you put inside at the bottom to see how much is left.

I ordered this salt and pepper shaker to actually use for garlic powder. I had gotten a huge container of garlic powder from Costco and it just would not fit in my spice drawer. Thus salt and pepper shaker does fit nicely with my spices and I like the look of the stainless steal. The garlic powder does seem to get stuck in the tip sometimes, but never to the point that I can’t shake some out. It just requires a wipe down to keep it looking clean. All in all I’m pretty pleased with the product.

I bought this for kosher salt and the compact size is nice. At the top you can twist the cap so you get a fine grain pour, medium, or open pour opening. The problem is salt gets stuck in the lid making twisting the cap a little hard sometimes. I thought this would be easier than a salt grinder container/shaker but I think I’ll go back to the grinder salt.
