Well, it was inevitable. Passing the salt by hand just isn’t efficient enough in a world of bullet trains, pizza delivery and broadband. Luckily, the condiments have now come to life!
These Salt & Pepper Robots will waddle wherever you tell them to. Wind them up and, like mini Terminators, they’ll march across the table to wage war on bland food.

TRULY HILARIOUS PLUS WORK AS ADVERTISEDI like the humor at the dinner table. Windup walking salt and pepper shakers. Don’t overwork your shoulder and arm muscles! Just wind up these guys and point them in direction of diner in need. Not sure how well they will work on a tablecloth but do just fine on my chrome and Formica dinette set. Came within advertised time frame from the U.K.Would be GREAT stocking stuffers. VERY HAPPY with them.

Cute, but utter nonsenseIf you’re looking for salt and pepper shakers that are just good at seasoning your food then look elsewhere. BUT, if you’re a person who loves nonsense, like me, then these are great. The pros are that the packaging is surprisingly fun! Cons are that salt and pepper only go in their heads, so they hold very little at a time. The salt spout is really poorly designed, my bf just keeps spilling salt everywhere all the time because it comes out in like a salt stream. The wind up feature is fun, but doesn’t work reliably. All that said, they are fun, neat little guys to keep on the table. I still love them! But they are complete nonsense.

Cool little shakers! These robots will be your personal servant at the dinner table…Gone are the days of passing the salt and pepper across the table, only to get your sleeve dipped in grandma’s delicious turkey gravy!Instead of dreading the thought of being asked to pass the shakers, your mood will instantly be lightened as you answer:Certainly! I can pass the salt and pepper!Just wind these little guys up, place them down, and watch them pass themselves!Don’t be “THAT PERSON” with food all over themselves! Wake up to the 21st century and let the shakers pass themselves!(These products work as described)

CUTE!Love these! They are so cute. They don’t hold a lot but that’s ok. They work better on a smooth surface, not so great on fabric tablecloth. My family got a great laugh from them.

Plastic but CuteI thought they were metal, but they are plastic.

Cute but cheapThe salt-and-pepper shaker robots are adorable . This is why they were given three stars but they are just cheap plastic toys that you can put a very little bit of salt and pepper into and not actual items that can be used on an everyday basis for salt and pepper they will not withstand any kind of constant use . The wind up actually does work and the robots will scoot across any flat surface at a very slow pace much to the amusement of little fingers and eyes but those little fingers will be the cause of these cheap plastic toys breaking . If you’re looking for something that is a little bit more study look somewhere else .

A lot of fun but not perfect.I really like these, they aren’t perfect but they’re still awesome. The reservoirs are really small so if you have a family you’ll refill them frequently. The pepper holes were a little too small for the pepper brand I use. I used a tiny drill to fix that but I’m sure a push pin would do the job as well. I just happened to have my drill out when this issue was discovered. They’re super cute, they walk across the table when you wind them up and they are really cute in person.

Robot wars on your dinner table! There’s not a lot to say about salt & pepper shakers but as far as these go, they’re the most unique and coolest ones I’ve come across and being a bit of a geek & gadget fan, they suit me to a tea.Pros:- They look quirky and great! Goodbye, boring salt & pepper shakers!- It’ll put a smile on all kids faces – even 30yr old ones- They stand out by a mile and will get some good comments from guestsCons:- They hold very little salt/pepper – it’s just the head you fill, not the body- When you wind them up they don’t walk straight (it’s not exactly high tech, so is forgivable)- The pepper shakers holes are very small – only good for very finely ground pepperWind ’em up and set ’em loose against one another and see which one stands victorious. Salt vs Pepper… FIGHT!

Flimsy quality and poor construction. Not worth full price.I hesitated when writing this review as I really needed to factor in the price we paid for them. We paid less than £4 and for that they are just about worth keeping.I know that our daughter with her children enjoy how they look on their table. But they are built flimsy and functionally the holes for the pepper pot are very small. You almost feel as though you are going to shake the robot apart when using It to put pepper on your food. The mechanism used to wind the robots up seems as cheap as the overall quality of the construction, which is very flimsy. If we had paid full price for these they would have gone back without hesitstion. As it is they are just about worth keeping but I can imagine that they will be broken and binned before long.A shame really because if they had been made more robust and less flimsy they could have been worth buying, perhaps not at full price though.
