Sharp blades, easy to use, saves lot of timeI used Prestige veggie cutter in India, it probably came from the same Swiss vendor, but Prestige stopped making it. I missed the product so much that I searched online many times and found this item. It’s exactly the same, probably from the same manufacturer. Very sharp blades, easy to use, saves lot of time. Worth having. The blades are sharp, so be careful while using and make sure to keep the item away after using. I would suggest looking at bamix immersion blender with slicesy attachment, looks amazing.

Love this thing to mince up garlic, onions and ginger.Love this thing, it is great for chopping up small amounts of those aromatic ingredients. Sometimes you want to make a soup or some rice porridge and it needs copious amounts of garlic, ginger and onions. This is the perfect thing to use. I like that it is very simple and very fun to use as well. I feel like I’m trying to start an old gas powered lawn mower or a outboard boat motor. I sort of wished that this had a hand crank instead of that pull string.Otherwise this is great little tool to do small jobs. It has pretty thick and durable plastic, and the rope looks quite durable and will last a long time. There is also a nice heft to it, so it doesn’t feel cheap. I also like the little grip on the bottom of the bowl that makes it stick on the counter when you pull the string.

Received as gift and was so happy with it bought one to give as gift.Exactly as described. Very easy to use and clean. We mostly use for shopping garlic. It will mince a handful of garlic in 2-3 pulls. Impressive.

Easy to use, clean and sturdyI find this very easy to use. I had two surgeries on my left hand 2 years ago; broke my right wrist last year (skating). The pulling motion is controlled and comfortable; borderline addictive. I used it multiple times the first day I received it, so much fun to use! I enjoy using this product and it doesn’t aggravate my prior injuries. Chops and shreds many vegetables, fruits, and meat to make healthy side dishes, dips, salads, add-ins for omelettes and rice, and much more. Works great at mincing food into smaller pieces for my Chihuahua to enjoy. Works great as a blender for liquids as well as mixer for dry goods like flour and spices. Waiting on my home-grown herbs to dry so I can use it to chop them instead of other tools that demolishes them. Highly recommend this product for it’s ease of use, ease in cleaning, sturdiness, and not requiring batteries or electricity to operate. Buy an extra one to keep in your camping kit!

Love it, works great, but a bit difficult to clean and also to scoop/slide food out of itThis does exactly what I hoped. Is a great chopper, very fast, very easy to use. Works wonders on prepping veggies, etc. for stews. The bad – there are ribs on the inside of the chopper that make it hard to scoop everything out and into a pot or onto a plate. I assumed I could just stick a spoon or fork into it and scoop the chopped food out. Nope. The ribs cause the spoon or fork to bounce over it and you can’t swipe everything out in 1 easy motion.I’m thinking a whisk or some kind of brush will work, I just haven’t figured that one out yet.If I knew this before buying I would still get it, and be happy with it, but would have liked to know the easiest way to get the food out before being frustrated by it.

For the price this is greatThe cutter works good.the blades are very sharp, cuts through anything. I use it for carrots, celery, garlic, spinach, artichokesCouple of things to consider:It is very small, use for smaller dish, must pre-cut vegetables to proper size before use.The top does fill with water (when cleaning) however there is a little screw off plug to release water and let dry.It is not made to make chunky salsa, Cuttings are fine/small.I like to puree my costco artichokes (cause they are full of hard leaf) It works great for that.Overall, I really like this cutter

Definitely a time saverWe don’t like big pieces of onion, shallot, etc. in our food, so whenever I cook with them, I tend to mince them. This does a good job of chopping them into tiny bits. My only gripe is that there are sometimes larger pieces left that have to be picked out. I open the unit and stir things around and chop some more, but there are still some bigger chunks left. Regardless, it still saves me a ton of time.I noticed other users complained that you still need to get a knife dirty since the food needs to be cut up in order to fit into the unit. It just seems like an unrealistic ask. This isn’t an issue for me since any veggies need to be prepped somewhat regardless. I’m not about to throw carrots or celery in there with the tops still on and of course, onions, shallots, etc. all need to be trimmed and peeled before using.

Love it!Love this little chopper a few pulls on the string and everything is nicely chopped. The only thing I dislike is the top is not to be immersed.

Great for choppingGreat time saver. Only negative is that you can’t put the lid in the dishwasher so after chopping onions it’s hard to get the smell off.

does the jobOne of my best kitchen gadget purchases ever, very easy to use, very easy to clean, yet it chops splendidly, has saved me oodles of time in food preparation.
