Very happy with the straws. I will purchase again. Sometimes compostable straws crack easily and are very brittle and weak, but these have not had holes in them or cracked. They are sturdy enough for our purposes. A bonus is that my cat likes to play with them, lol. If they are on the floor she likes to kick them around like a soccer ball, it’s pretty funny!

I was afraid they would be brittle, but they are durable and great eco friendly option.

So far, the latest redesign of this product is much better than the original product that was sold. No leaks yet and am able to use with smoothies, shakes, etc. I would to like to commend and thank the company for reaching out to offer a solution.
(Previous review: Literally every other straw leaked within minutes at the flex bend for different types of fluids. Not sturdy enough for smoothies, semi-thick homemade milkshakes, etc.)

I use this in my water cup in the car and at work the straw will last all day. It does not get soft like other compostable straws, but stays sturdy all day long.

These straws are sturdy like plastic and do not get soggy like paper straws, yet are biodegradable. A win/win.

I have been using these straws for a few months and I really love them. They work as well or better than traditional straws because they are the right diameter for me and have the little bendy part, and I do have to use straws for drinking, so I generate a lot of used straws. I can put these straws in the recycling instead of the garbage. Every time I tossed them into the garbage I envisioned the poor sea turtle who will eventually accidentally suck it into its nostrils, which is a terrible outcome of loose plastic straws in the ocean. The turtle comes up for air and ends up sucking a straw up its nostrils. I felt so bad about it. Now I can use straws knowing I am not contributing more garbage to our oceans.

These straws are durable and do not fall apart in your drink. They are bendable and a bit longer than others I have bought. I will not use any other kind.

My kids always use straws for their drinks. We have purchased these continually for the past 3 years and they are sturdy and we love that they hold up throughout the day.

I’ve been trying to improve my carbon footprint so I decided to buy these. They look and feel like stereotypical plastic straws – they’re the same thickness and maleabilty. Additionally, they don’t break down within 5 minutes like the paper straws at restaurants, which is an additional bonus. These straws are so much like the stereotypical plastic straw that I question if they’re really biodegradeable. If you’re looking to make a change, these are a great small start.

My son didn’t like paper straws and these feel more like plastic. With a little jiggling iit fits in cartons of juice. These are pricey but worth it
