We bought these to handle thick smoothies. So far, they’re holding up well after a month of use.
They’re flexible, but they don’t collapse when you’re trying to drink an overly-thick smoothie. The pull-through cleaner makes prepping these for the dishwasher a breeze. We’ll often leave the smoothie cup and straw soak in hot soapy water to make cleaning even easier.
They’re long enough for the large 32 oz cups that came with our blender – something else we were having trouble finding in regular plastic straws. The bend in the straw doesn’t make it all the way to the lip of the cup, but the straw still easily reaches the bottom of the cup with plenty of room to avoid getting your lips dirty from the top of the cup.
I definitely recommend these and will likely be buying a second set.

I kinda thought these were gonna be a gimmick but I actually really love them! They are so easy to clean, the squeegee idea was smart! Plus they don’t really affect the taste of anything at all! You can obviously taste it just a little bit if you’re looking for it but it really is not noticeable. Would definitely recommend for smoothies and as a gift!

As an invalid, I am obliged to drink using a straw. Now I can avoid adding trash to our damaged environment while drinking comfortably from these soft- textured, hygienic (cleaning brush supplied) silocone straws. Wider than the plasic ones, I find I can gulp fast on thirsty days unlike with the plastic ones! Costly, but I don’t regret my choice.
