I have many digital thermometers but what I really wanted was a thermometer that I don’t have to fuss with, one that I can just glance at to read. So I bought this. The glass that protects the numbers seem sound and the clip, which I may have to fidget and adjust, will just do. I doesn’t feel cheap but only time will tell. I used this just once before I wrote this review. I needed a thermometer to help me keep a temperature steady for 15 minutes. I was happy with the results of my chili oil with the use of this thermometer.

I bought this for candle making and I hate it. It’s not easy to clamp to a pouring pitcher while melting and I find it slow to read the temperature. Much prefer my digital

Maybe I didn’t read the product description closely enough but this thing has a very long stick… This makes it a little difficult to know how deep to place it into a piece of meat and then you have to back up to read it 🤦🏽♀️ …and the measuring lever moves super slow. I’ll probably end up buying a digital one, but it’s exactly what I ordered so can’t complain about the actual product.

I purchased this inexpensive thermometer, and the one I received didn’t work. I contacted the company via Amazon, and it sent me another that works perfectly. Every company should have such superb customer service!

I purchased this to use when making candles, but I honestly feel that I should have purchased a digital thermometer instead. I have no reason to believe this is not accurate, but it can be hard to read when you’re trying to do several things at once. You have to actually angle the thermometer a certain way to get an accurate reading, but a digital model would be much easier.

I really liked the fact that this thermometer was nice and long. That helped a lot. The clip was almost useless. I am using this device with a stainless steel deep pot. The clip forces the tip of the thermometer to rest against the side of the pan which destroys accuracy. Had to put some parchment paper in the clip to force the tip to the center of the pan. The temperature was wildey inaccurate until I pulled the 5up almost to the top of the liquid. Not sure why this one seems to register so much hotter than 9ther thermometers. Overall for the price it is ok. I would probably 5ry a different brand next time.
