Whether you’re baking multiple batches of cookies or keeping track of sides at dinner, the OXO Good Grips Triple Task Kitchen Timer will help things run smoothly. With three 100-hour timers and a stopwatch function, this Timer is the perfect kitchen helper, and it has a large, easy-to-read screen with an inverse backlight. The full keypad is intuitive to use, and the angled design with sturdy base means you can set timers with one hand. The Timer’s volume is adjustable, and three unique beeps tell you exactly what timer has run out without having to check. Need to count up instead of down? The Timer also features a convenient stopwatch function. Three AAA batteries included.

Such an upgrade to my old kitchen timer…Bought this to replace an old timer that had dual timer settings but had seen better days.Things I like about this timer are: it sits on the counter no odd little stand thingy you have to fiddle with, you can set 3 different timers, it has a key pad so you get to put in exactly the seconds, minutes or hours you need and it seems to be well made/sturdy, it has a silicone grippy bottom so it will stay put and the timer besides being loud enough is very easy to use.A note to anyone who purchases this timer – once you set the time the display goes dark after a bit but you can still see the countdown happening – seems like a battery conserving function, it caught me off guard the first time I used it I thought the screen went totally off and I was like well that’s dumb, until I looked closer and realized that I could indeed see the countdown thought the screen wasn’t backlit.Really like this timer!

Gets the job done!We realized heavily on the timer function on our old microwave while cooking (in combination with our phones). When our microwave kicked the bucket and the replacement didn’t have a time function, we were lost on what to do when we needed more than two timers. This timer has been a great replacement. It’s easy to use, even when not illuminated you can still read the time left if you stand close to it in a well lit kitchen, and the memory function is great for those halfway shakes in the air fryer.

Needs to Wake-upIt works great. Really like that it counts up after it expires. However, it goes dark very quickly and you cannot glance to see how much time is left. You have to touch any of the buttons to wake it up. My old Kitchen Aid LCD could be seen all through out the timing cycle.

A little disappointingThere are several things about the design of this timer that are odd and in my opinion hurts it’s function. The first thing I don’t like is that the read out dims after a few seconds even while in use. While I’m sure this saves battery life it’s harder to read the remaining time without getting very close to it after it dims. I’m used to reading the timer from several feet away or even across the room and it’s difficult to do that after this timer has dimmed. After the timer is reaches zero it starts to count up. This in itself isn’t a problem but the positive time stays on the read out after you stop it. In order to reset the timer you have to clear it and then enter your time again. If, for example you are making several batches of cookies you have to re-enter the time over and over. I would prefer that it keeps the last time you enter in memory for situations where you’re going to use the same time over and over. The number pad is non-standard in that the zero isn’t under 8, but instead off to the side. This isn’t a huge problem, but it is unusual. If, like me, you’re so used to using number pads so much you don’t have to look at them anymore it makes it awkward. This timer doesn’t have magnets on it so you can’t stick it on the fridge.None of these things are really very big issues, but added together it makes this timer uncomfortable to use. It keeps accurate time and does have three times that can run simultaneously, but with all the little things that are poorly thought out I can not recommend this timer.

Perfect!Out of all the appliances in my kitchen, I can truly say that this is my favorite. I use it several times a day because I cook a lot and it is simple to use and sits beautifully on my lazy susan next to the stove. I love that it has 3 separate timers. I bought it to replace my last one that i accidentally left on top of the stove while I was cooking. It melted. Lesson learned.

Good but be carefulTimer does good but be careful when you press the buttons it doesn’t always start and you have to repress. The function of the buttons makes the whole thing seem kind of clanky other than that it does work well

This timer is amazing!I’m going to lead with the bad, because there’s not many. I find that the fact that the 0 on the side causes me to mis-input timers due to my phone instincts telling me the 0 is on the bottom. Also, sometimes it’s easy to fumble around trying to figure out what sequence of buttons will do a specific action like turn off an specific alarm, or inadvertently fumbling activation of features like the count-up timer. It’s a little fiddly. Now the good things – literally everything else. It’s reliable, it’s flexible, it’s loud, it’s kitchen-proof, and after a few uses in anger you’ll know every corner of the device and know how to get there. I’d buy it for friends and family in a heartbeat.

Useful, even in a smartphone-dominated worldIt might seem odd to want something that has such a basic function all of our phones already possess but sometimes having a dedicated tool for a simple task makes sense. Being able to quickly add a timer (3 in total) while cooking without fumbling with a phone is just a nice convenience.Pros:- Dead simple layout.- 3 timers to keep you organised.- Easily repeat the last timer. Useful if you want to cook something on both sides for an even amount of time.- Bright display & angled display makes reading easy. Last minute countdown also reillumates the screen- Simple A batteries, no internal lithium battery which will die in 12 months.Cons:- Buttons are occasionally non-responsive. I find myself, on a rare occasion, having to double press a button to silence an alarm or enter a number.- Price. This thing is wildly overpriced for a timer in my view. I like Oxo’s stuff; I have heaps of it, but their pricing here cannot be justified. It’s a basic countdown time with 3 memory slots for timers and a recall function for the last stored timer.
