CAN’T HEAR THE ALARM!!I love this, it is so handy to always have a TimeTimer, rather than having to go find it. It does the job, in vibrate mode. However the plasticky buttons I am afraid will fail every time I push one., build quality is just not …rugged …as it should be at this price. It feels like a kids $5 Casio play watch. and I have to hold it to my ear to hear the “audible” alert!!! Come on now Time TImer what is a timer you can’t even hear?! And why do I feel that I have to treat it delicately or it will break, scratch, fail? It has three modes, timer, watch, alarm, why not go the distance and also provide a visual stopwatch? But I know of no competition or alternatives so… I use it. Visual timers are great . “How much time left” at a glance without thought or fuss or interpretation. Analog displays are ALWAYS best.

Watch functions well, feels a bit flimsy.Size and construction are fine, functions quite well. Only complaints are how cheap the coating protecting the body and screen from scratches is, I did not even get it on the first time before the coating appeared to be peeling from the band leaving it looking worn and splotchy. Screen is not damaged but easily scratches and is designed in a way that exposes it with no protection (recessed face or surrounding bumper tall enough to prevent contact). I will still use it as it functions great, but definitely disappointed with the durability and look for the price.

Great for executive functioningMy daughter has trouble keeping on task when she is disregulated and anxious. The easy to set timers and alarms are great. I could go on… but in the end … great watch with easy to set timers and alarms. If you need help staying on task and don’t want a smart phone telling you what to do… get this watch.

Love this little thing. So helpful with ADHDThe media could not be loaded.
I use this to stay focused at work and when studying. Really helps me keep on track. sometimes the alarm goes off- I realize I am distracted by something, and helps me get back on track. I got the silicone case that you can buy on the Time Timer website and found I used it wayyyyyyyy more as a device, can set on desk etc.Alarm itself is not annoying or too loud just a standard double beat repeating. It also has vibration as a setting. I use both!

Watch would not activate (turn on). This watch comes with a flat battery that you have to insert to get the watch going. I tried many many times to get this watch to turn on, and it wold not. In fact, I went through three of these watches in succession and none of them wold turn on. I experimented with the back cover at different tightnesses and it would not turn on. I reversed the batter and that did no good. With the battery in correctly, and the back piece off of the watch, I pressed my finger against the battery, and it activated briefly. This happened with all three watches. I suspect there is an alignment problem in the manufacturing process. The watches were returned to Amazon.

Lasted one dayI was so excited for this watch because my daughter really needs a watch with a visual timer. It is supposed to be water proof up to a certain depth. My daughter washed her hands (did not submerge the watch in water just washed her hands and some water got on the watch ) and all the water got into the watch. As a watch sold for children this should not happen. I am very disappointed

Comfortable and SturdyLet me start off with saying please read the directions, go to Time Timer website, and even watch a youtube video on getting started. I typically just dive in and think I can figure something out myself. After struggling a bit trying to set up my watch, I surrendered and read the directions, went to the Time Timer website and watched a youtube video on set-up. This is my first advice. I like the watch. It is a bit larger than what I am used to but the watch is comfortable to wear and seems sturdy enough. I like that you have choices if you are going to use the alarm feature. I use the sound alarm feature (not the vibrating one) and it does wake me up. The clock numbers are large enough for me to see during the day and you can set the watch to 12 or 24 hours depending on your preference. The biggest drawback for me is reading the clock time at night. I always use reading glasses and I just can’t make out the numbers at night without them. The clock numbers are black and I think the numbers would be much easier to read with a white background. The light button does not help. Also, when setting up the watch alarm to either sound or vibrate, in setting up the AM or PM setting, or in setting the watch to 12 or 24 hours, the letters/pictures are so small that in addition to reading glasses, I also used a magnifying glass. However, once these are set, you don’t have to bother with again if you don’t want to. This was my problem, but it probably won’t be yours if you don’t depend on reading glasses.

Great time management toolSometimes I have problems getting started on projects. Once I start them I’m usually good, but sometimes I just can’t motivate myself to start them. That’s where this watch comes in. You simply set it for how many minutes you want to work on something, and it will show you in red the remaining amount of time that you have left to work on your project. This watch has a few ways of notifying you that your time is at an end, such as a vibration, audible alarm or both. I prefer not to use the alerts and just look at the watch. It’s easy to see how much time in red is remaining, and it’s bright enough that I can see the red even if I’m not wearing my glasses. At the end of my allotted time, I take a break for say 5 minutes, and then decide if I want to continue working on said project or start a new one. This is an excellent time management tool, and works really well with the Pomodoro Technique (the Pomodoro Technique Illustrated is a great book if you are interested in an easy and illustrated way to learn about this technique). The watch itself is substantial. It’s a little bit large for my small wrist (5.75″) but it works. There is a small learning curve in learning how to use this, but I found it relatively easy to learn. I don’t use the clock or alarm part at all.The battery was easy to install, but I had problems getting the cover on the back of the watch on… it took me a good 10 minutes. Thankfully the battery is good for 8 months! For me, the one thing I do not like about this watch is that I cannot wear it on my left wrist. When I wear it on my left wrist, if I’m wearing a long sleeve shirt, the action of pushing my sleeves up and down will sometimes start or stop the time. There’s been more than a few times that I glance at the watch to see how much time is remaining, and it has stopped at a random time. I resolved that problem by wearing it on my right wrist, and haven’t had any problems.. just not crazy about wearing this on my right wrist.I would like to note that this watch does not help when you are reading a really good book, your timer is at the end and you keep telling yourself just one more chapter (thanks David Baldacci). I then tend to ignore my wonderful watch and keep reading.I do like this watch, use it daily and recommend it.

Easy to use and possibly help with ADHDDigital watch with a Timer, Alarm and Clock.Good:Simple and easy for kids and elderly people to use.Instruction booklet is clearly written.Useful for those with ADHD because you can set a repeating timer for (say) 15 min which can buzz and prod you whether you are on track .It can also be used in reverse when you take a break and it prods you to remind you to come back to work or study.Bad:Numerals are very skinny and hard to read for the 0ver-40s. The letters should have been thicker.Ugly:In this age of Smart Watches, the designers should have tried to give it Blue tooth connectivity and explored whether the programs can be updated. This would have greatly increased the market for their watches. On the other hand, keeping it simple was the best thing the did.

Kids friendlyI am teaching my daughter to be in schedule and respect time. This watch is coming handy due to its simple design and specially the visual red dial which disappears. One such example while playing with friends they tend to share dolls for a time period and every time she used to come to us to check ever since I gifted this watch to her, She is able to take care of it on her own.
