PJMI –
The original cuisinart discs were all made in Japan, they were quality made and sharp. The one I received was made in China even though the disc shown in the picture is stamped “made in Japan”. I bought this as a back up for an original blade that I purchased in 1987 thinking that it may be getting dull by now. Wrong. The old disc is 3x sharper than this new disc that I received made in China.

Very good.

Nit quite as good as hand shredding but worked fine . With softer potatoes came out a bit stringy. Expensive.

The item delivered has a different number than the one displayed. The original disc has the number 14 stamped on the back. The disc delivered has the number 13. The disc delivered has a smaller diameter than the original disc. The stem that came with the original machine does not fit the delivered disc.

This disc arrived with no stem. How was I to use this?

I needed the disc that is pictured in the photo (Part No. DSC-S37) to fit stem DLC-8/DLC-10. I received a completely different disc that does not have the part number stampings pictured, nor did it fit my stem.
Very disappointing – had to return. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the stampings to post here before I returned it.
Looks like I’ll have to purchase directly from Cuisinart website to get the correct one.
