Breville BR-5 Mesh Filter Basket for BJE510XL Multi-Speed Juice Fountain

Works great when basket is new. Unfortunately after only 2 months of use (for juicing one bunch of celery, once a day only in my case) the tiny blades get dull and practically cut the juice extraction by at least 40%.
The Mesh Basket is either not a genuine Breville product or Breville no longer uses superior quality stainless steel.
This juicer is becoming too costly to maintain considering that you will need at least 3 mesh filter baskets a year (approximately $180.00).
Otherwise, we’ve had the juicer for 5 years and would give it 5 stars if it was not for this issue. The original mesh filter basket that came with the newly purchased juicer (model BJE510XL, paid around $270.00) lasted for almost 4 years. The juicer itself still runs flawlessly but will contact Breville customer service to share my concern with the mesh basket.
Before investing in the Breville brand juicer, research thoroughly on spare parts / maintenance cost.

EDITED 6/3/2020: Today I realized that you are able to replace just the stainless steel blade and the costs is only $18.99 . HOWEVER it seems the basket advertised (and that I purchased in August 2019) is not genuine since the blade does not have the 3 screws necessary to disassemble and replace with new blade. When purchasing the basket make sure the picture shows top view of the basket interior (the 3 screws) so that in the future you can replace the blade only. Much more cost effective…3 blades for the cost of 1 basket.

I was so exited getting this , and so disappointed now , fruits and vegetables stock I have to press so hard in order to get squize, is like the filter stock , the original was not like that

This filter didn’t fit at all. It looks the same, but it’s slightly too small and therefore we can’t use it.

It is the right part. New blade no problem, just $55.
