A Hit for my Granddaughter’s Birthday PresentMy granddaughter loves making things to eat. This is very easy for her to use. Instructions are easy to follow and recipes are included. The magic is the outer ring you place in the freezer for the specified time. Then you simply place the motor and top onto the ring, pour in the ice cream base per the recipe, and plug it in. In about 30 to 40 minutes, you have delicious ice cream. She loved being able to do this.

Lots of fun to do with kidsI have a few Dash products so I was not hesitant to purchase this at all due to the brand. But due to my ability to make it correctly function I did question. But it doesn’t fail (unless you don’t freeze the bowl enough, or you over churn) . Great tasting vanilla (my sons favorite) ice cream. He helps to put the machine together and then helps to make the liquid mixture pours it in and even watches it to make sure to turn it off when it’s ready. So much fun.

Amazing purchase!! So happy!!Due to COVID, my husband and myself have not been able to go to Thrifty’s for ice cream. I figured buying this would be ideal since we often have lots of ingredients for ice cream already. So my first batch was not the best – it didn’t get creamy. I attempted to make some dairy free ice cream which tastes good but after freezing it, it was too hard. I also did not let my sugar dissolve so it messed with the texture.BUT My second attempt was perfect! My tip is to let the bowl truly freeze overnight or longer. Make your mix and put it in the fridge for an hour or freezer for about 20/30 minutes.I made a vanilla ice cream – heavy cream(dairy alternative), sugar, almond milk, vanilla extract. Nice and creamy. I also made this same mixture with dairy products. Both were good!I also made a chocolate ice cream, same ingredients as above plus unsweetened cocoa powder. There’s a book that has recipes also. I even froze peanut butter “globs” and added them to my chocolate ice cream.

I was so excited, until I realized, I needed freezer space!Returned, never used! I read the pamphlet first and saw I needed to chill the bowl overnight 😌 Sadly enough, I never have extra freezer space.

Compact ice cream makerI love the color and the size and how everything fits together for storage. Have used it few times since purchase and only problem I had was my fault one time when I didn’t leave it in the freezer long enough. I did not give 5 stars because to clean it I have difficulty getting the motor out of the top piece so have to wipe down with a damp paper towel. The clips that hold it in place are plastic and I’m afraid to break them as it doesn’t come apart easily. Just a small pain and design flaw. Otherwise makes great ice cream in 20-30 mins. I use it for Keto ice cream. Did not rate the flavor feature as that would depend entirely on your recipe and not the machine.

Just okFirst time the ice cream was more like a milk shake. Followed directions but it never really set up
