It does the job with a bit of helpOkay, so I originally got this for making fried eggs because the breakfast sandwich maker I was using before died and it honestly seemed a waste to get another one when I only ever used it just for the middle egg ring. At first glance this seemed like it would be a perfect substitute and I really liked that it was smaller and sleeker, more streamlined than what I was using before. With the way it is shaped I was kind of expecting there to be more room between the top and bottom plates though. This is perfect as is for frying eggs if you’re breaking the yolk to use in a sandwich, but for sunny side up the top plate was touching the yolk and pulling off the top part of it until I found that my little flat sided cookie spatula was the perfect height to stand on its side and prop the cover part open just enough for the yolk to clear the top plate. It’s also perfect for melting cheese on top of a sandwich fried egg or piece of ham. It does work and now that I’ve got the spatula trick figured out it’s performing perfectly for my needs, but I do personally think the top plate is a bit too close to the bottom one for it to be truly versatile as is. Still, for the low price, compact size, and simplicity of something that just plain works without a lot of fuss I would absolutely buy this again.

Compact and Versatile.Used this little machine to make pancakes and sunny side up eggs. Worked great for the pancakes, works okay for eggs. Eggs yolks came out partially cooked, similar to over medium eggs, but still good for a little machine. I found if I left the lid open, it was almost like a sunny side up egg. Cleaning is fairly easy unless you spill or drip outside the Teflon-like plates. Then it takes a little more effort. All in all I love this little machine.

Versatile and space savingThis griddle is tiny, cute, and super useful as it can do a variety of things from pancakes, eggs, cookies, sandwiches, and even a hamburger. Versatile and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Nothing stuck to it and clean-up was just letting it cool and then wiping the plates with a damp paper towel. The griddle gets very hot.I only gave it 4 stars because there is no on/off switch, which is inconvenient. You just have to unplug it. There is also no temperature control, so you have to watch it carefully. It would also be nice if the cooking plates popped off and could go in the dishwasher or at least be easily cleaned. But clean-up was fairly easy despite the plates not being removable. But for the price and size, it’s worth it.

I cook eggs and pancakes with it.i cook pancakes and mostly eggs, eggs cook is about 3-5minutes. Ive had it about 2months, when i plug it in sometimes it doesn’t work and you can tell when the lights go on, on top of cooker. After eggs are cooked, the product is very hot and you have to pick it up carefully or you get burned. It still works, it cooks well. I hope it lasts a long time.

Just big enough to cook up one egg at a time.Eggs…. yes that’s what I got this for. Careful once you plug it in it heats up what feels like instantly. There is no power on-off button, plug in and it’s active and hot. Love it. Just big enough to cook one egg the right size for an english muffin egg sandwich.

BEST MINI APPLIANCESo far I’ve made burgers, small porkchops, pancakes, eggs, bacon and even chicken. Its so handy and easy to use. Heats up incredibly fast, easy to clean, great temperature control and the nonstick just makes my life a whole lot easier. For a college student this is a life changer.

Your fingers can easily get burnt. This is a great gadget for frying a single egg. However, it has a serious safety issue. There is no side handle or anything to hold on on the side. As such if you try to move the fryer after frying an egg/or pancake for that matter, you can easily got burnt on your fingers. Furtheremore, there is no switch on the unit. The only way to turn off power is to unplug.

LOVE THIS THING!!I have been using this little thing like crazy now since I got it. Cheese stuffed hash browns, will hold 3 small sausage links, or 1 patty, meatless or meat version. I also bought the waffle iron, Perfect! Hubby and I had breakfast for dinner one night and cooked it all on the little waffle iron and griddle. we had waffles, pancakes, and sausages. I bought one for my grand daughter for her college dorm. and will be getting one for my sister for Christmas.

Love it!!This little thing is awesome! Cooks perfectly, heats up and cools down quick. Super easy to clean. Makes perfectly sized portions. Haven’t made pancakes yet but I’ve been using it to cook ‘breadless’ egg, cheese, and impossible sausage breakfast sandwiches. It cooks the eggs in less than a minute. I would definitely recommend!

Easy for a fast snack/meal – Mom and Pup approvedMy husband had recently bought me a sandwich maker which was convenient, but right away wondered if it could cook eggs. I went down the google rabbit hole and came across this little beauty. I ordered it about 10pm, and by 9am the next morning I was using it. But of course that is kudos to the delivery people, not to the product itself.I love over easy eggs that I can dunk my toast in. I usually add pepper and sometimes seasoned salt. The way my dog stares up at me when I cook means she feels she deserves breakfast eggs, so I have to always bring out another pan to make hers separately so no seasonings get on it and then scramble it.This product works great for both, and i can get both our meals within a couple minutes. I scrabble her egg in a bowl and pour it on, and it quickly becomes a super fluffy egg that comes off with no effort and i just cut up on the plate.. I then spray again and put mine on. Afterwards a quick wipe off of the griddle and we are done. No more of two pans to use and clean.I didnt rate the temperature control being that there is no way to control it. I just have to watch closely not to over or undercook it.I was going to take a star off because I agree with others that it would be nice to have a on and off… but really that just would mean i would probably keep it plugged in and never put away. This way I am more proactive of getting it cleaned off and put away.
