Nice SizeGreen light comes on when fixed temperature is reached but cycles off even before food placed on grill. The grill is large and cooks the food quickly. I like it better than a frying pan. It makes great crispy bacon. I wish that it had an ON-OFF switch.

Just as good as the original big oneLittle bit of a pain to clean but well worth it for a grill that will cook 6 large burgers at once

It’s very good at what it does. This is my second Foreman grill (my old one died after a long life of hard service), and this one’s just as good.Grill arrived in its original (and very sturdy) box. Requires precisely zero assembly – it’s all one big piece, you just slide the grease catcher into the bottom and you’re ready to cook. There are no buttons or dials to worry about…you plug it in, and when the light turns green (which takes maybe five minutes, probably less), it’s ready to grill. While that admittedly means that you don’t have a lot of control over the cooking (since it only has two settings – ‘off’ and ‘active’), chances are that you’re not cooking some precisely-prepared gourmet meal on a Foreman grill. It cooks a lot faster than you might expect, which is a good thing as long as you understand that. The grill has a good amount of space, too…you could cook half a dozen burger patties at once, easy. I mainly use it for steaks, and I have no problems when I do. The very high cooking heat does tend to make cooking fish a little difficult, however…it’s not impossible, and I’ll admit that I’m not a terribly skilled cook, but most fish filets just seems a bit too ‘delicate’ to easily grill on this.Cleaning it is very easy, you just wait until it’s cooled off and then wipe the grill plates with paper towels or a moist sponge. The grease catcher is listed as being dishwasher-friendly, and I’m sure it is, but I’ve never actually needed to try that – as long as you dump the grease out promptly, it can be cleaned within seconds by hand. The only thing that I’d warn people about is the non-stick coating on the grill plates. It’s quite easy to damage, so never use metal utensils to turn/scoop food on it, or you’ll probably scratch it. Plastic spatulas do just fine. All in all, it’s a great grill for someone with limited cooking ability who just wants to cook up some steak or porkchops or whatnot. No complaints.

Cleaning it is such a painHere are the good points: it’s big; you can cook a lot of food on it; it seems to heat up fast; and it seems to cook the food well. The bad points: no temperature control; and cleaning it is a royal pain in the neck. The cleaning issue is the dealbreaker for me. The plates are not detachable. You have to clean them while they are still attached to the entire unit. Because it is so big, it is very awkward to clean them. And there are little bumps and things all over the things that tear a sponge to shreds.I would take 20 minutes to cook something, and then I’d have to spend 40 minutes or more trying to clean the grill afterward. And I never felt like I really got it clean.Ultimately, I bought a much smaller Foreman grill with detachable plates, and that’s what I’ll use from now on. It has detachable plates, and I love it.I’ll never use the big grill again. I’m going to give the big grill to Goodwill or Salvation Army or some thrift store. I can’t bear the thought of having to clean it even one more time.

Excellent But No Temperature ControlI enjoy this grill and it’s good for pork chops, chicken, bratwurst and some vegetables. The big disappointment is no temperature control!!! Not sure how I missed this fact. It is worth the money but would be even better with temperature control.

It’s good!Let me just say I like it! It cooks like it suppose too etc. the only downside I don’t like is the fact that the center logo is not a logo with his name on it! It’s just a sticker over it which have me thinking is it real or not but I’m not going to stress over it

Must have for any homeI absolutely love this grill! It’s got lots of room to cook multiple items of whatever you cook on it, the non-stick plates are really convenient, I love the tilt feature to drain much of the fat away from meats for a healthier option but it can also lay flat if you just fold down the stand in the back. As far as cleaning, it is really helpful to wipe it down while it is still hot, or leave it on after cooking while you take a soaked paper towel (or old towel) and a pair of tongs to saturate the dried-on stuff and can easily wipe away. Every home should have one, it’s really a wonderful and convenient kitchen appliance! I bought another name-brand grill/griddle but I elected to get rid of it. It’s the Foreman Grill for me, all the way!

We love this grill! This is the best grill available for its size and price. As mentioned, we do love this grill, but ALL of these grills LIE about the number of ‘servings’. (You can get 9 hot dogs, but that’s it.) You can get 6 good sized burgers or 4 good sized stakes, which is definitely more than you can fit with the smaller grills. We’ve been buying this grill for years (until the teflon starts coming off the top plate) and then we replace it. As others have mentioned, the plates do NOT come off which makes it very hard to clean the top plate without making a mess. There is no temperature control, no way to heat just the bottom plate, or even an On/Off switch for the grill itself – once you plug it in, it’s ON.When you consider all the pluses and minuses of this grill, it’s still the best out there and the price is fair.
