What a fabulous grill!!!!!!!This grill is really excellent and here is why…..It’s easy to use and it makes steaks and burgers taste great! The best thing is that it’s so easy to clean after grilling…you just have to use the spatula that comes with it and you are finished in no time.I have not put it in the dishwasher yet but it is so easy to clean I didn’t think it was necessary. This grill is worth every penny and we are recommending it for anyone who wants to buy an indoor grill!!!!!

Close to being five star product, not quite though.I have had the privilege of using a couple of other presto products in the past, and overall I have been quite impressed with their ease-of-use, easy clean ability, and their overall performance. This grill did not disappoint either! I had another indoor electric grill from another brand which I won’t mention, it wore out. Did not want to spend a whole bunch of money on something new, and found this unit to be an excellent compromise. here’s what’s excellent about it. I like the temperature control, however it would be nice if they could make it reach a higher temperature than 400° which would make steaks easier to grill but it’s still relatively easy to operate. that’s because the temperature notches are easy to follow and helps to ensure you’re getting close to an exact reading for what you’re planning to prepare. also impressed with how easy it is to clean, the product description says you can place everything except the temperature control in the dishwasher, however so far I have not found it to be necessary to do so. i’m not sure I would want to do that anyway because of the anti-skid seat on the underside of the legs which I’m afraid may melt if you do put the grill in the dishwasher, so if you do you may want to pull those out first. so far I’ve cooked a couple of different products on the grill, and they’ve each turned out very well, hamburgers and steaks. here’s why this is not quite a five star product. First, I’m not quite sure how long the nonstick coating will last because it doesn’t seem terribly thick, But for the relatively low price that may be nitpicky. The other issue I mentioned previously, would like to see the ability to cook at a higher temperature than 400°. tall steaks take quite a long time to cook on it. I guess the benefit is you don’t have to worry about something like that burning right away so that may be nitpicking as well. those minor issues aside, I would absolutely not hesitate to buy this especially if you’re looking for something relatively inexpensive that could be used to cook for one or two people anytime.

I love this grill so much!Okay, so I live in an apartment and was missing being able to grill food, until getting this awesome little indoor grill. It did arrive a bit damaged (I watched the delivery person drop the box on their way to my building) but it was a superficial issue and I simply used some Gorilla Glue and never looked back. I have grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, bacon wrapped asparagus, chicken, pork, steak, and tons of veggies on this grill all in the comfort of my kitchen countertop. It is so very easy to clean too! Absolutely worth getting, especially if you’re in an apartment where you cannot grill outside.

I love it and so does my kiddo!I love this thing! I was researching all of the indoor grills forever. I was going back and forth between this one and the hamilton beach grill. I picked this one because I “visited” the other grill at walmart, and it had a very small cooking surface. Two burgers if you were lucky. This one however is the same size as all the other presto griddle. Very large. Last night I cooked 4 1/3lb hamberger patties on it, and I probably could have fit 6 if I needed to. I’ve only had this about a week, and I’ve used it twice, so I can’t say how long it will work, but looks good for now. Now for washing. I had trouble finding a straight answer so I’m going to give you one. Basically It comes with the grill, attached to a plastic stand, and it has two little prongs on it. This whole thing I just discribed is washable with water in your sink or dishwasher safe. The electric cord that comes with it, is not water proof. But you just unplug it from the grill. Easy peasy. It is big, so I’ve just been hand washing it and drying it right after. Now, for popping and grease splatters… I cooked teriyaki steak strips, no mess at all, and my daughter who is 9 did most of the cooking, (boy did she love being a chef!) She is normally scared of splattering food. But not with this. Then I made the burgers… Lol. There was no painful splattering, but oh was there a mess to clean up! Lol. Worth it though. So my advice. Lay a splatter screen ontop of these kinds of food. Should help alot. Next- does it have the bbq flavor???? No friggin way. Lol. It doesn’t compare to your bbq. But it’s better than pan cooking things that should be grilled if that makes sense. Prefect grill marks, cooks alot of the fat off that you just scrape away instead of letting it sit in there. Gets a nice sear on the meat etc.. lastly, the temp control: it goes up to 400 degrees, and I first thought it could be hotter for searing. But after cooking the burgers I see now that if it went any hotter, it would be almost dangerous. This is just right. To sear the meat, you just preheat it for 10-15 mins. Set the meat of and wait. If it’s not brown enough, just wait a little longer. All in all this this is great and you can wash it, instead of wipe it clean (gross, and a huge pain) this is the grill to go with, trust me, I did research on ALL of them. Lol good luck grilling folks!

Fast and easy to useI originally purchased one for the office to grill my food as I hate reheating. This little grill was incredible. I used the first one for about 2-years and purchase a new one. My friends love it so much that I gave them all one. In total I’ve purchased 5 grills within 3-months. I would love for it to have a lid but again it does grill great!

A Great Little GrillI bought this to try something different from the typical George Foreman type grill. I was so sick and tired of trying to clean the Foreman grill I already own with the non-removable plates! Hate it! Although there are several brands of tabletop grills that do have removable plates, most of them are overpriced. I absolutely will not spend $100 on an indoor tabletop grill.I came across this one on Amazon and, after much searching and reading, decided I’d go ahead and give it a try. This is a single sided grill with no lid that comes down on top of it so you have to cook one side of your food at a time. Different from what I’ve been used to.So far, so good. I haven’t had time to use it a whole lot yet but what I’ve cooked on it so far has been good. Chicken and steaks. I love using these tabletop grills versus the oven or broiler or outdoor BBQ grill so I’m sure I’ll use it for everything. Burgers, fish, chops, chicken, steak, vegetables, etc.It is super simple to use. Plug in the cord to the grill (like an electric skillet) and plug the cord into an outlet and there you go. It heats up quickly to 400 degrees (or less) and is ready to go in no time. It is lightweight and super, super easy to clean! Thank goodness because that was my main reason for buying a new tabletop grill in the first place. It is totally dishwasher safe but I just rinse mine off in the sink. It has a non stick coating which is fine so far. I did wonder if heating up only to 400 degrees was going to be hot enough to cook steaks but it is just fine. I made them last night and they were great. Because you have to cook each side of the meat, it does take longer than the Foreman type grills but I don’t mind that at all. Gives me time to be making the side dishes. The sides are made of plastic. Not sure if they’ll hold up well over time or not.For the price (around $35) I am pleased with this purchase so far. As long as it holds up for a reasonable period of time that is! We’ll see as time goes by. If I have any problems with it, I’ll come back and amend this rating.
