Great productI made the best juice ever. I was scared that I would take a loose and not be able to get back together.

Mediocre, messy, decent priceSummary: In my opinion, this juicer seems over priced. I am also concerned about the quality/safety. The first time I ran the juicer (before putting anything through) I smelt burning. This juicer is loud, messy, and scary at times. There have been numerous times where it seems like the motor goes out of control, the juicer starts frantically moving on the counter and the off button doesn’t work. In these instances I unplug it, clean it and restart it-note I rarely use the food pusher so overloading it is not the cause. In hindsight, i’d spend the extra 40$ and get a Breville. I am debating on returning it if I still canNoise: This juicer is louder than a vacuum, it’s obnoxious and unbelievable. It gets even louder when juicing harder vegetables. Even when I try to yell over it to talk, the juicer is much louder than my voice. If that is an issue for you, do not get this juicer.Mess: I read many reviews saying that it’s messy. I thought the customers were being dramatic, but they were not lying. There is an air vent (a large hole) near where the pulp gets shot out. While the pulp is getting shot into the container, it also gets shot all over you and your kitchen. It’s absolutely ridiculous and there is no way around it except to cover it with a bag. Such a disgraceful design. You also have to be careful that the cover is perfectly aligned or pulp will also shoot out from the crevices between the cover and machine…joy.Yield: The yield is pretty good actually. Only issue is with certain fruits (oranges, strawberries, etc.) and spinach. In my experience there is an insanely poor yield for these. Otherwise I find that it extracts a fair amount of juice. Most will say that fruit shouldn’t be juiced anyway for this reason, so this point may be irrelevant.Waste: This largely depends on what you are juicing, but I do find that the majority of my pulp is damp. When I juice fruit, the waste is incredibly wet. I also do see the occasional large chunk of produce. For the most part, the produce is ground into very small pieces.Size/aesthetics: This juicer is fairly large/tall and takes up a lot of counter space. The stainless steel cover looks nice and modern though.Clean up: I have had juicers that are more difficult to clean, but due to the fact that this one shoots pulp all over, the clean up is fairly extensive. There are only 5 parts that need to be cleansed and all are easily dis/assembled and rinsed. The supplied brush also makes cleaning the screen fairly easy and fast.Speed: Two speeds are nice, but there is very little difference in them. Without pushing the produce, this juicer speed is fair. The produce also gets caught in the chamber frequently or gets spit out.Safety/manufacturer claims: As I mentioned above, I have smelt burning from this juicer a couple times for no apparent reason. Every time I have shut it off and restarted it and have not smelt it again. A few times, randomly the juicer has panic attacks. The motor will suddenly get very fast, the juicer will move on the counter, and none of the speed/off switches will work. The first time it happened it was really scary. I had to unplug it and it took the motor about a minute to shut off. This has happened both when there is nothing in the chamber and also whilst juicing. Also, the “big mouth” hasn’t been large enough for any apple that i’ve bought thus far however small. I tend to cut all of my produce anyway to prevent juicer panic attacks. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this juicer. If you plan on only using it occasionally, and do not have children that will be put at risk by the safety concerns then maybe. If juicers are cars, this would probably be a Suzuki.

Super Happy with the ValueDid a little research before purchase, wanted something that I could use each morning for juicing celery. I found out you can spend a lot of money on a juicer. This one was reasonably priced and works great. It is a little noisy, but not more than expected. It is simple to use, very easy to clean (takes about 60 seconds to rinse it off) and effectively juices fruits and veggies. I have used it for watermelon, applies, celery, strawberries, carrots, etc. While I have not tried greens, my guess is it would not work too well for leafy greens… probably need a blender for those. It looks really nice, it’s easy to assemble, had some good tips in the booklet that came with it. We have had it for over a month now, use it daily and it works like a charm. Even my hubby can use it with no trouble. Nice juicer for the $$, so glad I didn’t spend a fortune!

Most entertaining small appliance I ownIf you are new to juicing and, like me, want to dip your toe in without spending a bunch of money without buying complete cheap junk, this is your juicer. It’s very well constructed, yet very easily broken down to clean and easily reassembled. It even comes with a brush that helps clean what is, admittedly, the hardest part to clean: the mesh screen/blades.BELIEVE ME when I tell you this thing has TONS of power. It will chew through just about anything you throw in. (Be reasonable, though; It’s a juicer, not an industrial shredder. Pits and seeds will grind this thing to an expensive halt. Calm down.)Like any good resume writer, I’ll turn the only con into a positive: Because it has so much power to weight, this thing has insane torque. My first session I thought it was going to twist itself off my kitchen counter and juice my cat (who hates the sound it makes, BTW). The rubber feet on the bottom are not the best, but I found that a silicone baking mat remedies the situation. Once that’s sorted, the only downside is the trial and error required to find out what fruits and veggies taste good with with each other. I haven’t thrown any juice away yet, despite the unhealthy shade of brown that carrot-orange and kale-green make when mixed. Also, invest in glass bottles or cups. The juice will stain plastic.

The packaging was fantastic and arrived perfectly snug in it’s boxHello all,After careful consideration I decided to buy this juicer. It came via UPS last night and I couldn’t wait to open it. The packaging was fantastic and arrived perfectly snug in it’s box. When I finally opened it and held it in my hands I knew this was no rinky-dink-made-in-china juicer. It feels sturdy and looks great. This morning I made two juices and they came out fantastic. The cleanup was a cinch as well. If I have to mention any drawbacks to far it would be that the cord is extremely short and I had to shuffle things around on my counter top so the juicer could reach the outlet. The other drawback is that it is loud. Now, I didn’t expect a library quiet juicer, but this bad bay has power. I don’t know how I’m going to get up at 6am and juice and not have my wife kill me, but we’ll see. All in all, I’m very happy with this juicer and and can’t wait to make it part of my everyday routine. If you are on the fence and you want someone to tell you buy it or keep looking, then I’m here to say BUY IT! It’s fantastic for the price and the juice it makes. Enjoy!

This is my first juicer and I’m really quite pleased with itThis is my first juicer and I’m really quite pleased with it. The wide mouth means minimal cutting and slicing of fruits and vegetables and it’s very convenient. Being that this is my first juicer, I’ve been trying different combinations of fruits and veggies and there is nothing this thing won’t juice. It does have two speeds, however, I’ve only ever used the high speed. I don’t really see the point in having the low speed.I don’t know if this is for this juicer in particular or juicers in general, but you should put a paper towel or something under the cup. Once you move it away to pour your juice into glasses, some juice continues to come out. The foam separator on the cup is really great, I’m really not a fan of the foam, it grosses me out a little bit. With this, I’ve been very happy, because there is practically no foam at all. Best of all, taking it apart to clean is super easy, just do it right away, otherwise the pulp dries up and there will be some scrubbing involved. The unit doesn’t shake on the counter or move around, but it is very loud, louder than I expected to be, probably too loud to use at 5 a.m.! This was purchased on a whim and I’m really glad we did, now I have another way to get vegetables into the hubby!

Great Appliance If Not For Being LoudThis juicer wasn’t my first choice, but it has worked well so far. My husband and I have been trying to make celery juice in the AM a habit, and my juicer makes it easy to keep up with daily. I have a full day of clear juices coming up for a medical procedure soon, and I plan to use my juicer to keep me full (if that’s possible). Without it, I would be at the grocery store buying juices full of sugar. The only thing I would say that is not 100% positive is that it is loud, there is no way around it, and there are days my young daughter sleeps in that the juicer kicks into high gear—and she can’t always sleep through it. Not good if you have a baby or young kids.

Many merits, Few flaws – a decent juicer for the price.PROS – It gets the job done very quickly. – Being someone who had used a blender to juice before ( and wait and wait and wait for it to be done and use a strainer to separate the pulp and then wash the blender and the strainer), I don’t mind the little effort that goes into cleaning this juicer. – Unlike some other reviews and pictures, no flying or shooting out pulp in my kitchen.CONS – Firstly, the mouth is not that big – I still have to cut apples into pieces for fitting them in. – The pulp is sometimes a little moist. But all i have to do is run it through one more time. – Very rarely some small – medium sized chunks come into the pulp but then when you go for a second run; they are gone. (Running the pulp through is not a problem for me. Just mentioned it in the cons for those who would mind doing that)

Great Juicer!!! 5StarsThis is a high quality product. I bought it to juice grapes in order to make grape jelly. It extracts the juice into a side container and separates all the pulp and seeds. Fantastic product, easy to use and to clean. Love it!

GREAT PRODUCTI had never juiced before. I had no idea which juicer to buy. I didn’t know if I would even end up juicing. I began to do a lot of research on juicers and juicing. Firstly, I heard about juicing from watching on Netflix a movie called ” Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” by Joe Cross. I thought I want to lose some weight and this seemed reasonable. After my research I decided on this machine ( Hamilton Beach Juice Extractor 2 speed Big Mouth in Black- # 67750) The Breville juicer seemed very good but for the money this one seemed to be just as good. At least that is the impression I got from all the reviews. Now that I have used the Hamilton Beach, it does the job really well. It does not splatter when juicing. It is great that it has a container to catch the juice as it comes out and an extra large pulp bin. I don’t have a dishwasher but this machine is very easy to clean. All in all, it gives a good bang for the buck !
