I had to purchase this one to replace a brand new one I used twice. It works well and I like that the pulp catch tray has slots that can be adjusted to allow for more or less pulp into the juice. I’ve only used it once so far but I did juice about 15 lemons. Works great. I also like that the pitcher has more capacity as well as two sizes of cones.

slice the orange in half. Put half on the juicer and push. Simple, simple, simple. Keep a steady presssure and a bit of a grip to keep the fruit from spinning. Seeds and pulp filtered from the juice.

Pro: Easy to use and works good..
Con: It does have a short electric cable and it’s a little fragile..
Other than that, it does the job well!!

We spent a Friday night squeezing lemons to make lemonade for a lemonade stand. Saturday I ordered this and the next time we made lemonade, it took no time and half as many lemons to get the same amount of juice. It does still let some pulp in, so I strained it with a mesh strainer but not too much. I don’t know how it compares to a fancier, more expensive juicer but it beats squeezing by hand. Made limeade for margaritas with it as well.

I wanted another kitchen gadget, like the electric can opener was awesome and now this for lemons and grapefruit. Works like a charm. I bought a different make n model and it was cheaply made so I returned it. Then tried for this one. Only drawback is that it’s louder but still a 5-star because you need the power to make it work properly. I like it a lot. Thought a video would help. I dont make many reviews with video but this one deserved it.

Have been using this juicer on navel oranges from my backyard tree with no problems so far after using it for a month and for at least a dozen sessions in which the built in reservoir was filled to the 24 oz mark with orange juice. I have been using the larger reamer mostly due to the sizes of the oranges. The auto reverse feature is nice to get more juice and uniform juicing from the orange halves. The feature works best if you lift up the half orange you are working on every few seconds, since the timer for the reverse direction is short and it only reverses when the motor is not moving. I have found that it is best not to ream the oranges all the way to the white rind since it makes the juice taste bitter. The unit is easily to clean, and I am doing it by hand it takes less than 5 min. The pulp screen is easily to clean just by rinsing with warm water and moving the level back and forth to make sure the pulp is out of the slots. I have not found a convenient way to separate the top and bottom halves of the pulp screen, and it is really not necessary as it turns out. The plastic cover that comes with the juicer, keeps the dust out when it is being stored on a counter, which is nice. The noise level is fairly high, but this is because of the gears in the bottom of the unit that convert the motor motion into the drive shaft for the reamer. There is no need to press down too hard to get the orange juiced (for ripe oranges), since pressing hard will also make the juicing less efficient, and tear up the orange sections inside. Each orange half only takes around 30 seconds or less usually to extract the juice. Based on the reviews, I got the extended warranty, but so far, the unit is working fine without any problems, making 24 oz of juice every couple of days (60 oranges or more so far).

The product it self works as advertised. With very little issues. I would give it 4.5, maybe even 5 stars, if not for the jacked up price.
Pros.
– I can get more juice out of a lemon or orange then I can by using a manual press.
– Easy to use and fairly easy to clean (have 1 issue with cleaning look below)
– Has enough power. I originally was worried about the motor, however I have tried to put as much force as I can with one hand and keeps spinning. Unless you are pressing with two hands and putting your entire body weight on it, the motor has enough power.
Cons
– Small issue with cleaning pulp strainer. The strainer is two pieces. Some times pulp or seeds get stuck in between the two pieces, and you’ll need to separate the pieces to clean it properly. It is fairly easy to separate the pieces, however because everything, including the clips that keep the two pieces together are plastic, one of these clips will more then likely break sooner or later.
– Pulp strainer will fill with pulp, even when you have it opened to the max setting. I have not attempted to do 32oz of juice at one time, the most I’ve done is close to half. There is no way you can do 32oz of juice without having to empty the pulp strainer at least once, if not multiple times.
Additional Notes.
– Everything on this juicer is plastic. I don’t see it as a Pro or Con. Anyone with decent eye sight can tell by the pictures that this thing is all plastic, and the reason it is selling for less the $30.
– The sound is the same as every juicer I have used, not sure why so many people are complaining about it.
– I’m happy that $1 goes towards Alex’s lemonade stand charity. However, Proctor Silex sells the exact same juicer in white, without Alex’s lemonade stand marking on it, and no book for $12 cheaper. I’m happy that $1 goes to charity, but the book is not worth anything close to $12. So Proctor Silex has slapped on a $12 premium to this product, and is willing to give you max $5 book (and I’m being generous here), and give up $1 to charity, so they are actually up $6 when compared to same juicer they sell in white.

This works great once I figured out that you have to remove the yellow center piece before trying to get the container off the base.
