Very well made!I am relatively new to cocking, so my opinion is largely based on my background with engineering. This seems to be a very well made unit. Very much in line with the excellent legacy of Braun products.Pros:Perfectly balancedVirtually no vibrationsExtremely smooth gearing(comment: these pro’s make it a pure joy to experience)Cons:Release button hard to pressAttachments hard to install/push-in.(comment: hopefully as the unit wears in, these aforementioned cons may fade away on their own)In closing, my grandmother always preferred Braun and using this device I always have to think of her and smile and understand why she was such a great fan.

Nice clean designMost of the blenders look very chunky. This design looks simple and clean. It’s easy to use and does what I need.

Just used it again last nightIt’s been a long time since I’ve used an electric hand mixer, but sometimes a stand mixer is too much fuss. This is great because it’s easy to clean and use. The one thing I am not entirely a fan of, is that I wish the blades were silicone coated so they didn’t make as much of a racket against the bowl. Otherwise, this is so easy that my 5yo son was able to “help” me make frosting for cinnamon rolls last night.

Lots of plasticI had to replace another brand of mixer when the casing broke around the whisks and they wouldn’t stay in anymore. I had hoped that this Braun model would be better built and more durable than what I had, but sadly these days quality is going down not up, and this is just another example of that. It has a lot of plastic parts, is heavy without good balance, and does a merely adequate job. Definitely not made to last.

nice power, like the storage bag, quiet for a mixer, beaters splatter a bit and have plastic basesWe used the beater to mix peanut butter that had separated and it did great at powering through that. The 200 watts gives nice power and we were both surprised at how quiet it was. My husband was surprised at how well the beaters worked because they were so different from usual mixers, so he was unsure at first. I find the beaters to be a bit splattery though when working with a more runny batter, so i just have to use a taller mixing bowl. We are both disappointed at the plastic bases of the beaters though, wish they were all metal. I have not yet used the dough hooks yet so I can’t speak to those. I do really appreciate the storage bag for the attachments, I get tired of beaters taking up space yet still being hard to find in the utensil drawer. So this is just a like for us instead of love because of the plastic ends and the splattery nature of the beaters, but still nice power, quiet, and nice storage bag.

Good power, but plastic where I’d rather it wasn’tSo I wanted to like this more and it’s not bad. On sale this would be a great pickup. At retail .. I’d probably spend a bit more to get something that feels a bit more substantial. The 200W power is there and it’s nice, when I need to get more space for my mixing and don’t want to use my stand mixer. The hand mixer is powerful but even on the low setting with the wire beaters its messy. I have to use the deepest biggest bowls I have and even then it’s iffy if I can get it done without leaving a mess to clean up. The beaters base are plastic and with the power this thing is putting out I worry about it breaking sooner than later. It comes down to the fact it’s not a bad little mixer but it has a couple problems. Plastic ends of the beaters, the shape of them fling material more than my other hand mixers do, and because of this I can’t use the higher power settings without making a comical mess. On sale this is a fine choice I just wouldn’t go full retail personally.

Decent MixerThis is a decent hand mixer, but a bit overpriced compared to other similar quality options on the market. This mixer performs pretty well, but is definitely a mid-tier mixer from a quality perspective. You can find some similar quality mixers for a bit less money.

Good hand mixer. One of the first things I noticed is how quiet this hand mixer is to any other hand mixer I have ever owned. There is some splatter. Does an excellent whipping eggs whites. Have not made any dough with the mixer, but I do believe it should work. I would recommend this hand mixer

Nice Quality Hand Mixer! Does a great job mixing! This is a nice quality hand mixer, it feels comfortable in hand and is easy to work with, though releasing the beater use improving, pressing the button to release them is not responsive, I had to press and them pull them out, I am hoping it is only because it is new and it will ease up more. You would think 200 Wattage is not much more a hand mixer but it is actually just right, I had no problem mixing cake mix and whipping mashed potatoes. I had not used it for dough or anything super thick but I think this mixer will handle it just fine. There is a bag included to store the beaters and dough hooks, the mixer stands up on its own and fits perfectly in my cabinet. Braun is a great brand for household products.

I use it all time time but there are some issuesI’ve been wanting a hand mixer for a long time and to this point have done all my whisking by hand (even for things like icing where I really could have used a mixer). I’ve been using this a lot since it arrived – for icing, mashed potatoes, etc. It mixes fine and the parts are easy to clean.I do have a few issues with it. There is a lot of splattering. I’m not entirely sure what is the norm with hand mixers and maybe I need to work on my technique but it seemed messy to me. It’s also really hard to push the button to release the beaters and half the time I need to ask my husband for help. The mixer does look nice enough – I like the black. Overall it’s come in handy and saved me a lot of manual effort but I do feel like it has some flaws.
