Annette Danehy –
Yes, it is powerful, Quiet, and Pretty (for a mixer)I was a bit dubious of the low wattage, but it works! The new style beaters are different and work just as well as the old style. The soft start is wonderful. The mixer is quiet, we were able to discuss how it works, while it was running! It replaced our 20-year old HB that was powerful but load.

Great mixerGiven as a wedding gift. They loved it.

Good but the beaters aren’t great.Over all this is a good hand mixer. However, the wire shaped beaters throw food out of the bowl or pot when mixing. Mashed potatoes bits go flying everywhere even on the slower settings.

Beaters are easy to cleanLove the stainless steel beaters, they are easy to clean and so much better than the Hamilton Beach we had for years.

Hands down, best mixer ever!I fought with my previous mixer for 50 years before deciding that enough was enough. After reading numerous descriptions and reviews, I chose this one and am so glad I did! My favorite feature is that it ALWAYS starts on low speed, no matter which speed you turn it off at. How handy when mixing anything with flour or powdered sugar to prevent a mess all over your counters. My second favorite feature is no center post on the beaters. Unless you have experienced the joy of trying to clean batter from around those posts, you can’t appreciate my euphoria at not having them anymore. Other favorite features: the cord locks into either the right or left position, depending on how you like to hold the mixer, and the ejector button fairly shoots the beaters out. After having to wrestle my old mixer for the beaters, this is a real joy. My only regret is waiting so long to get this mixer.
