DisappointedThis product is well built and has plenty of power however, the design is such that the mixer beater or the whisk just pushes all of the ingredients to the sides and bottom of the bowl. The user ends up basically mixing the ingredients by hand. I used the “adjustment” screw to lower the beater but with it as far as it goes down the mixer still doesn’t mix the ingredients but instead smooshes them to the bottom and sides. I guess its ok to mix very basic liquid ingredients but anything that is a batter might as well be done with a bowl and a wooden spoon by hand.UPDATE: There is a plate with three screws that the bowl sits on and locks. I took the plate off and placed three nickles with three quarters on top of them. I reinstalled the plate. The coins lifted the bowl up just enough to make the mixer work a lot better! It does a pretty good job of mixing now. Just sharing what I did. Maybe Cuisinart can redesign that part to make the mixer work better. I’ve never had the problem with my Kitchenaid.

Awesome!This stand mixer easily compares to a kitchenaid, but not nearly as expensive! This mixer is sturdy & easy to use! I love it!!
