Tray coating comes offThe oven itself is very good. I use it all the time. Easy to use. Accurate. Small but can even bake a small chicken in it. My issue is that the coating on the baking pan/tray comes off and may make it unhealthy to use. And it is difficult to find a quality replacement the same size. I contacted the company and they had me fill out a form and send a photo. I never heard back.

We REALLY LIKE it, and use it daily.I spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME looking for a replacement toaster oven to replace the one we had for 13 years. We don’t even know which brand we had because it was given to us for our wedding, and whatever label was on it wasn’t readable. We are generally thrifty people, so it was tempting to go to the Black Friday sales and get one for $10-$20. We also debated whether or not we wanted one that would rotisserie and air fry. To get those functions we were seeing prices from $200-$350, and many of the reviews said that the toasting function was sub-par. I guess the “all in ones” can’t really do it all. I went on several review sites, consumer reports, etc., and the top rated toaster ovens would often get many really great reviews and then several that were really negative, depending which site you were on. This De’Longhi Livenza Compact 1800W had none or almost no negative reviews. I think one person gave it a negative or less than “stellar” review because the rack didn’t automatically come out when you opened the door. OH NO! (Seriously?)We were looking for one that:1. easy to use2. easy to READ (ageing eyes.)3. TOASTED well4. broiled5. fit on our counter without taking up too much space——This one fit those criteria, plus BONUS:1. lights inside when cooking2. beeps when finished3. convection cooking is more efficient4. Stainless steel looks great on our counter topWe have cooked pizzas, pies, and a host of other things in it. It is so much easier than using the big oven when you don’t have a lot to make.We put ours up on a small shelf so we can put items beneath it, so I don’t notice the door not opening all the way, nor do I notice it gets too hot. We store the pan that came with it and a small broiler pan we used in our old oven on the top of this oven, as the air vents are only on the right side, so there is plenty of room for them without blocking the air vents.Only gave 4 stars for cleaning, because other than pulling out the crumb tray, haven’t needed to, and can’t speak to that feature. Also only 4 stars for value because even though we got it on Cyber Monday at a cheaper price than it is normally, I still think paying over $100 for a toaster oven is a bit much. Also, we haven’t used the app that supposedly is available. We really like it and highly recommend.

Really Great BUT…This is an excellent toaster. We had a previous version of this that lasted about 15 years. This one is better from an ease-of-use perspective and it really works great. Love the mini convection oven. But, the handle on this keeps it from opening all the way, and the spring loaded door shuts on your hands. Such a terrible design. Make the feet a little taller and/or the handle a little shallower so that the door opens all the way. We currently have it sitting on an upside down baking tray so that the door will open. I’m trying to figure out a more elegant solution. Really like this thing overall but could not give 5 stars with this design flaw.

DeLonghi brandWhen my previous DeLonghi toaster oven sort of blew up with smoke coming out the vent, I knew it was time for a replacement. I have always thought highly of the DeLonghi name. I did my research and despite it not having the same high reviews as previously I went with my gut and ordered DeLonghi again. It is a beautiful toaster oven. The dial to change for the different settings, times and temperatures was easy to learn. The glass is so insulated that you don’t feel any heat radiating out there. I had to call customer service because there was no instructions to defrost and even the representative had to give me her best guess on how to accomplish this. Hit and miss and now I have it figured out. The toaster oven MUST BE MOVED to the edge of the counter EVERY TIME I use it (a bit of a nuisance) so that the handle hangs over the edge of the counter. If I don’t do this the door slowly closes and I could get burned. It also has to be to the edge to change the wire rack. Then the crumb tray is another annoying problem. I like to clean that frequently to keep the oven clean. Well, it is so tight that it pulls on the gasket around the door glass. I am tucking it under the crumb tray so that it does not loosen or tear the gasket. The customer service rep told I don’t have to do this and it will not hurt the gasket. I am not sure of that as it is VERY tight. So as you can see, I love the way the toaster oven works, but it has a few very annoying aspects that I am dealing with. I think the DeLonghi name is not one of the top names anymore and I am sorry to say that.

DisappointedI actually returned the DeLonghi. Compared to the other one I had, it wasn’t as easy. More updated but not as easy.

Not very good if you like your toast toastedI like the way it looks. It doesn’t roast very well and it does not air fry, my mistake for not looking closely enough at the description. I can’t get it to brown toast unless I give it a couple of turns at the five minute toasting setting. But its my third one in a year and I should keep this one.

Quick and easy for small mealsThis is the 3rd version of this model that we’ve had over the years. They are good machines, I do wish they would last longer than 5ish years. The first one had an element that died and the second one got to where you had to keep turning and turning the selector knob before it would respond. It seems they re-engineered the knob, so hopefully we won’t have a repeat of that one. They have gotten cheap on us however. The tray used to come with a perforated broiling insert and it also used to come with a 2nd rack, cookie sheets, dehydrating racks and a pizza pan. Not any more, but the old ones fit perfectly in the new model.Overall, it heats up fast and the convection setting is great for warming up leftovers or cooking convenience foods. It does well with pizza or cookies if you’re just feeding a few people and don’t want to fire up the big oven.

Compact, with appealing special featuresWe have had this oven for 5 days. We bought it to replace our 16 year old TFal convection toaster oven. We needed something with a footprint about the same as the TFal, and with similar interior dimensions. Most of the modern convection toaster ovens are too large and too tall. This one is just right. It’s like the TFal minus the upper warming compartment which we really never used. We love the unique double paned door construction, and the bright internal light, which is illuminated whenever the oven is in use. IT came with a nice collection of good quality accessories, though we would have preferred a second rack to the pizza pan. The internal dimensions match the old TFal almost perfectly, which means we can use this to bake pies and puddings, roast veggies, grill sandwiches or meats, etc. With just two of us, we really appreciate not having to fire up the oven in our kitchen range. There are just a few minor drawbacks: using it as instructed, with the rack in “position 2”, it toasts bread beautifully on the top, but only so-so on the bottom side; and although the body of the oven is very sturdy, the knobs feel a bit flimsy, and the lower heat element is not quite level. Those are the only reasons we did not give it five stars.

Wonderful Compact oven!It has been many years since I had a toaster oven as I wanted the perfect one… so glad I waited! This toasts bread, reheats pizza and other items to perfection. I love that it’s compact and looks attractive. It’s easy to use once you understand the steps. Trust me on this. My mom ordered this a few months ago and showed me how to use the controls which was helpful. She is 86 and figured it out herself!I can’t wait to try out the many features this oven has. Really happy with my purchase!
