Perfect counter top itemI purchased this item to be able to cook a chicken on a rotisserie and to dehydrate my food plus air fry. So far, it’s been the perfect purchase! It’s quiet, quick and works as I expected. I’m very pleased.

Love it!I was a bit leary of it and took 2 days to try it but once I did I found it easy to use! The only problem that I have is that there isn’t a shelf stop and it would be easy to dump what you are cooking when you pull it out a little to far. With all that it does, it is really easy to use. Works great!

Great item BuuuutttThis item is great however I was a little disappointed in the toast function and the roasting function the tools that are given to roast a chicken Parm not really the greatest to use for roasting. I’d love it for everything else and also disappointed with the toast function I was thinking that both sides of the toast would get toasted. So I found myself having to look for a actual toaster to get the toast but I was looking for. And also have to go back to using my old fashion Ronin for roasting.

An attractive unit, but bulky, and far too complex (read “versatile”) for the average application. The “Super Danny” is trumpeted as “compact,” but it was too tall and too tight a squeeze for safe installation in the available counter space. Huffs and puffs, but can’t seem to make a normal piece of toast, and – sorry, but – most of those lovely presets will never be used. (Rotisserie? Really?) I may have overreached, but I’m exchanging this item for something a little more clearly focused on Toaster-Oven tasks.

I never need to turn on my oven – saving electricitySaves electric, convenient, quiet, discreet box that has a blackened window so it looks better on your counter.

No instruction as to placement of pieces for the different cooking types. There are 3 different levels to cook but no instructions as to placement for different foodAddition 9/24/22- I have been able to figure out how to place the racks with no help from the user manual. I spoke with the company with some questions they were to call me back but never did. My biggest issue, since I figured out how to use it is – a definite design flaw- there is no stop on the inner walls to prevent the racks from falling out when they are pulled. It does cook really well, I use the manual settings mostly.

Makes too much noise, and it’s extremely difficult to use all 3 shelves simultaneouslyToo loud, can’t use all three shelves simultaneously

“Fried” Food Without FryingI have very little experience with air fryers. I always wondered what the big deal was about them. They’re just tiny convection ovens, aren’t they? They do work on the same principal, but there are some differences. First, air fryers are smaller, so the heat is more concentrated. The fan in an air fryer is located on the top, underneath the heating element. In a convection oven, the fan is in the back or on the side. This also concentrates the heat more. Lastly, the fan is much stronger in an air fryer. The fan is much louder than the fan on our small convection oven. The air fryer was fairly easy to figure out. It came with much more thorough operating instructions than the last air fryer we tried. This one also came with a small recipe book. I would still like some basic usage instructions included for things like frozen french fries, etc. Do they need to be in a single layer or can they be stacked, do they need to be stirred, etc.? I shouldn’t have to use trial and error to figure out something as simple as that. The Superdanny does take up a lot of room, especially when compared to the basket-style air fryers. The unit itself is 13”x13” and 15” tall. The instructions state you should have at least 4” clearance above and to the sides of the air fryer. If you follow the instructions, you’ll need at least 21” of counter space and fairly tall cabinets.I tested with a small batch of frozen french fries. The basket is 8.5”x8.5” at the top, and 7.5”x7.5” at the bottom and 1” deep. If you are going to cook fries for more than 2-3 people, you are going to have to cook in batches. I used no oil. The fries came out as crispy as if they had been fried in oil. The convection oven would’ve cooked them better than a regular oven, but they would not have been as crispy as they were out of the air fryer.I doubt I will ever use this for baking or cooking steaks as advertised, but it does work great for “frying” food without the actual frying. Maybe I’ll explore some of the other functions, if I can find a place to put it.

Amazing but takes timeWe cooked a chicken just to see if it said what it said it would do. Let’s just say chicken turned out AMAZING! So 5 stars for that. However, to get the skewers in to the chicken perfectly was an effort which is why I took away a star. I get that it’s a raw chicken so that is probably half the battle but still took me time. This oven can be used for every other air fryer or toaster oven need. It fits under a Norma counter and is fast and easy to use.

Cooks well, but directions aren’t clearThis is a nice oven and it cooks food well, but the lack of the directions makes it difficult to use. It also takes up a lot of counter space.
