Very versatile, love itI am 78 yrs old, been cooking more than 35 yrs. I ordered the TOA-60 BKS, then started reading the reviews which convinced me that I should cancel. The next day I did so, but they said it was too late. So, I thought I would give it a chance. Well, people said it burns stuff, the timer is not accurate, the temperature is not accurate. So, taking that into consideration, I started out lowering the temp a bit, checking on progress more frequently, etc. You don’t just put something in the frying pan and walk away do you? Sometimes you flip, raise temp or lower it, change from broil to bake midstream. I’ve done panko breaded pork loin, pork chops, frozen brats, spaghetti squash, burgers, hot dogs, chicken hind quarters and breasts, cooked hard boiled eggs, roasted vegetables, baked frozen biscuits. The only thing I burnt was my first try with toast, it does great with frozen waffles too. I would recommend this to anyone. Just approach it cautiously as you would with any other new appliance.

Wonderful Addition to Your KitchenI have been using this Cuisinart TOA-60 for about several weeks now. My comment is for someone who can not decide whether to buy or not. The following two reasons were why I waited for so long.1. Does the machine gets HOT? This was my big concern. Well, it does get hot, but, nothing dangerously. The best place is where it sits back in the corner of your counter/cupboard.2. Does it make toast? Yes! I replaced my Cuisinart Toaster for this. I bake my own bread and it never tasted this GOOD. The reason for this is; it does not dry out. I start with a slice of frozen bread. Just before it gets golden color, I turn it off, butter it, place it on the plate to keep it warm until the rest of the breakfast is ready. My toast is crispy outside and still moist inside, and I can really taste my homemade bread that I could not taste before using a toaster. For dinner, I used Air Fryer to cook; chicken, pork chop, steak, burger, brats. They all came out great, and FAST. Well, you get the hang of it, you prepare your Air Fryer first whatever you are cooking, (watch youtube ) set the time, while you are getting ready for other things such as setting the table, making salad etc., your Air Fryer is working. When the bell rings your entire dinner is done and serve!I have a tip for cleaning up. For Air Fry, ALWAYS line the pan with aluminum foil to catch the dripping. And, right after cooking, soak the rack in the soapy warm water. By the time you finish your dinner, the rack is cleaned in the soapy water. Also, clean the inside of the machine with soapy wet paper towel each after use. Mine still looking like a brand new. Also, if you are not using the machine for cooking, I use it for warming the plates/rolls. For homemade cookies? just place them for “warm” for 5 min and you get the flaky, just came out of the oven “cookies” every time.I just can not say enough about this Cuisinart TOA-60 that changed my life.I am still learning everyday. I am in my 70’s and never thought that my way of cooking was going to change in this way…..

This Is A Wonderful CookerThis works great as a toaster oven or air fryer, and the food comes out great. It runs hot; it cooks well and we generally end up setting the temperature about 25 degrees less than what the directions say. It is a little hard to get crumbs out of the very bottom, but is doable. I would definitely recommend this over a regular toaster oven or air fryer. We use this almost daily.

Seller replaced itemWanted to like this but the spring loaded analog controls started failing almost immediately and now, after 6 months, it is useless. It won’t’ turn on, or, if it does, it won’t stay on, and it sometimes comes on by itself. Why did it get two whole stars? Because I wanted to like it, otherwise no stars :(. Paid top dollar and am now hunting for one with digital controls to replace it.Edit: my more patient and efficient wife contacted the seller, who is offering replacement. We are working out the details, so up one star from two while it’s pending and will re rate following its conclusion.Second Edit: seller replaced defective item. Replacement seems to have the same mechanisms, so not sure it won’t fail again in the short term, but rated four stars for the seller stepping up. Thanks.

Great oven but doesn’t last too long. This is by far the best oven I have purchased but the life span is about a year. I am in to my #3 but I have not found one that I like better.

Oven Timer stopped working 3 months after we purchased – bummed!Love everything about this unit EXCEPT that the oven timer stopped working about 3 months after we purchased it. Not easy to get in touch with seller.

Liking it!We really like it so far! Easy enough to use it and everything cooks much faster than in our toaster oven.

Great size and performance for the moneyThe transition from my previous Cusinart toaster oven to this new one (dual oven and airfryer) took some time. The heating ability is so much stronger even on ‘regular’ Bake temperatures, you need to be sure and adjust your recipes and keep a watchful eye for burning your food until you get used to it. The other feature I miss from my old toaster oven is the lighted display and master turn knob. The new dual model (bake and airfry) has the old fashioned turn knobs, and they are not easy to see when choosing the settings. The type is small and not lit, so I often have to use extra direct light to operate the knobs. Additionally, the interior light doesn’t automatically turn on when you open the front door, more dark again. It only turns on when the timer is on. As far as the heating, convection, warming and air fryer abilities, it is perfection…Just bring extra light to your situation.

Just read the instructions and get to know the appliance first , and you’ll be fine.Powerful at 1800 watts , yet compact.

Likes and dislikesOverall, I like its appearance on my counter and am enjoying learning how to airfry things I always baked. Wish it had a bell to indicate when baking or toasting is completed. Cook has to just pay attention. Temperature control is not exacting on a dial indicator. It requires dedicated cleaning after each particularly splattered type of cooking if you are a fastidious cleaner. It is not fun to wipe it each time.
