I love this toaster oven. The back lighting for the digital display went out in just a few months. I have a hard time getting the correct setting because of this. I love every other thing about this. I use this to bake, broil and toast. The back lightning issue is obnoxious.

The cord is to small because it gets heated up during use-THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE.Love the digital controls, but there to small to read. The cord is to small because it gets heated up during use-this is a safety issue. Its a little confusing cause you have 3 settings for the rack settings, depending if your baking, toasting, or broiling. Overall, I would rate it a 4.

It bakes beautifully.I don’t like the fact it kept tripping the power and had to be reset. Had to move it and the coffee maker. It replaced my old Quisart toaster oven.

Love it!!!Absolutely love our little toaster oven, we use it every day. You do have to watch it and open the door as soon as the timer goes off otherwise the food will burn, but still super worth it. Easy to use and clean, and most importantly NO burned plastic or chemical smell like many other toasters, that was the most important thing for me. Very happy with this purchase.

A Must Have in the Kitchen! With today’s electricity costs skyrocketing, this little oven is a must for all kitchens. I chose this unit to replace a KitchenAid that only went bad because a knob broke off and KitchenAid did not have replacement parts. Well, I wasn’t about to go with that brand again and I’m so glad I didn’t. This was the easiest appliance I have ever bought!!! Took it out of the box and didn’t even have to read the manual. It heats well and cleans up well. Though, I wish the slide out crumb tray was on the outside instead of inside, but hey, no big deal, it is a great, great find! I LOVE it and use it 2 or 3 times a day. And it is easy on my electric bill, and the price was excellent!! I highly recommend!

This is a great toaster oven. This oven is small on the outside, but easily accommodates a 12″ pizza. Clean-up is easy, and the controls are very intuitive and simple to use.

Cuisinart TOB-135W Deluxe Convection ToasterWe had a different manufacturer’s toaster oven for 20 years that finally gave up. There were no parts available to fix it and they no longer manufactured it. So, we went looking and this was the only unit that had the dimensions that would work for our counter space. We went and ordered it and here is what we found: 1. Keep in mind that his unit is ONLY painted on the front!! Top, sides, back, and bottom and all bright metal. Since this unit is on a counter with cabinets overhead and items on both sides, it worked out fine for us. We do NOT move it to use it. If this will be out on an open counter or if you move it to an open area to use, you may want to think about it first. 2. The oven is fairly well made and does a decent job of each function. Some of the rack positions are a bit different than our previous unit, so there was a small learning curve. Keep in mind that toast does vary depending upon the type of bread and moisture content of the bread. So, settings may need to be varied if you move from bread type to bread type for even toasting. Not a big deal and easy to accomplish. 3. Because this is a digital unit, there is NO more tick tick tick as the timer winds down!! Just the ding at the end and you can turn that off if you want. 4. The back light on the display panel is normally off, which is nice. It only comes on when you open the door and remains on for two minutes after you close the door to allow you to decide what you want to do and to select settings. It also stays backlighted when it is running. 5. The only major design issue I have with the unit is the design of the glass inset in the door. On other ovens the glass and the metal were flush so you could not collect crumbs on the door. This unit has a lip around the glass so when you have the door open it can catch and hold crumbs. They do NOT wipe out easily because the edge holds them in. 6. The fan in this unit is very quiet and only comes on when you select convection. 7. The metal on this does get very warm, especially the bump out on the back that allows you to put in a rather large pizza! So, ensure adequate clearance and ensure that if you place this on a counter that the cord does NOT touch the back of the unit!!! I used an offset adapter to have the cord go sideways instead of straight out from the outlet to keep the cord off of the back of the unit.At this point in time I am happy with the unit and would recommend it even with the door issue.

Perfect convection toaster ovenI first bought the Cuisinart oven with the white front in April 2017. It is a little workhorse that has performed flawlessly for the past 4.5 years and continues delivering. So why did I order another one today? (1) inflation seems to be out of control due to government policies, so I am buying ahead for the time when this oven that has performed so well inevitably reaches the end of its useful life. (2) Although I was disappointed at first that only the front is white, I got used to the look and actually came to like it very much. (3) The convection fan is EFFECTIVE + VERY QUIET!. (4) Consumer Reports, the NYTimes and others have said that toaster ovens with convection perform as well or better than dedicated air fryers. Just use a dark pan + a wire rack to allow the air to circulate beneath the food and you are good to go. Using a 12” round pizza pan and an 11” round stainless steel rack, I made a large batch of French fries that my adult son said were as good as any he had ever eaten in restaurants. (5) Having spent 2 days reading reviews for toaster ovens, I found that, sadly, Breville has in recent years become unreliable. Kitchen aid has a couple of models that I considered but the fan in their best rated model is said to be extremely noisy and the other doesn’t have convection. (6) I read the reviews posted for this Cuisinart convection toaster oven and found none that raised significant safety, reliability, or performance concerns. In response to the negative reviews that have been posted it is FALSE that this oven doesn’t accommodate a 12” round pizza pan. One of our dark 12” pizza pans is in fact sitting a bit askew on top of the oven in the photo I have posted. It is also FALSE that the white is not white. My Corian counters and bright white Daltile subway tile were chosen to work with the white of our refrigerator and range. Yes, the white of the Cuisinart oven is a bit brighter and warmer just as the white of the microwave is cooler, but to my eye all the whites in our kitchen work well enough together. Another reviewer complained about her oven turning brown. Mine too gets brown from cooking, particularly on the top of the door. I clean it, and it is white again. One reviewer said the lettering was gone in a matter of months. After 4.5 years of daily use my oven is still LIKE NEW in every respect, including the lettering.

Purchased this just over 3 years ago and the LCD screen stopped functioning, beware of faulty screenI really loved this toaster and it worked great for cooking a variety of vegetables and other foods. The issue is that the LCD screen started acting strange and not displaying all the text about 6 months ago, so parts of text would be missing. Since I had used it for over 2 years, I knew which settings I needed and where they were, so I could work around this seemingly minor issue with the display screen. Then, suddenly using it today, just a month outside the 3 year warranty period, the screen stopped working altogether and only the blue backlight remained. At first I panicked, and then thought, well it was only 3 years ago that I bought it, so surely the company would replace a product that failed so close to the warranty window. Also it was showing problems over 6 months ago, so obviously this product was defective in some way prior to the final breakdown.Needless to say, I called the company and submitted a product inquiry to get help with this defective product, but since this was purchased just over a month over the 3 year period, they were not willing to help me. Beware if you have this product and the screen starts to go — contact them immediately! Don’t wait for it to fail altogether because they won’t help you. I don’t even want to buy another because I have seen other reviewers have this same issue, and it is obviously a defect with this model. I really liked this toaster when it was working. I have no idea which other brand of toaster to go with to replace it, now that I know the company will not take responsibility for this defective product.
