Great when cooking for one or twoCountertop convection oven is quick to heat up and cook small dishes, meat loaves and roasted vegetables without heating up the kitchen. The one disappointment is the cheap aluminum pan than was stained after the first use and continues to be impossible to clean. A stainless steel replacement would raise the price but give this appliance five stars.

Gets hot quickly and toast function is greatThe toast function is serious business – it will really toast, and quickly (watch your setting}. The oven is decent size and seems to heat well with no noticeable hot spot so far. The crumb tray is large – this is a big deal for us because if you let this become heavily crusted with spills and crumbs you almost pay as much to replace that tray as you do for the whole unit. We had 2 small spill overs from using this oven and while we could soak and scrub the debris away a stain remains. Not using cleaners on this so we protect the surface. The knobs are okay but the selection dot isn’t too easy to see. The top gets really hot, but we use that as a warming surface. The electric burner on the bottom front is close enough to touch your fingers or hotpad when removing items, so take care and then it’s pretty groovy. This review posted after 1 month of use, so longevity cannot be rated. Overall, we like it

Are you a classy individual?Because if you are you need this toaster oven in your kitchen. This stainless steel toaster oven oozes sex. But there is more to this toaster than its looks, it also performs incredibly. My morning toast is perfectly crisp, my personal pizzas are world class and my reheating of leftovers dolls them back up to better than new. Please buy this toaster oven, the world thanks you.

Our new favorite kitchen toy!We moved our old toaster oven off the counter to make room to play with another coffee maker, and I decided it would not go back, we would replace it since it was pretty old (about 30 years!)After spending months and months trying to decide among what seems like millions of options, I happened upon the black stainless model and we both liked the look and features, so it was a done deal.We love the look, and the stainless isn’t bright and shiny, but more of a fingerprint-proof finish. Very nice.As for performance, we are ecstatic- the first thing I did was toss 6 slices of old bread in there to see if there was any odor, which is a very common problem with new appliances these days. The toast came out GREAT, and there was barely any odor at all, not enough to ruin even the first bread tested. We’ve used it to heat a few other items such as frozen snacks and tonight home made grinders, and this thing rocked every time! The ONLY complaints I have – and they are both very minor: 1. The manual does NOT tell much about the oven other than the required safety BS… I had to figure out on my own that turning the power knob to “timed” cooking is not reversible- you’ll have to let the timer count down in order to shut off- you instead turn the knob to the LEFT to enter the constant-on state. The words are clearly marked on the oven, it’s just something they don’t mention. The other issue- again, very minor- is just the marker on the knob to set the temperature could be a little more defined; it is a dot instead of a line, not a big deal.My favorite feature is the convection fan included in this model. You simply turn the dial to the icon with the fan or the one without for each feature such as broil, etc. so you can really keep the browning even on any dish. This is really a great oven for this price range, out of all the choices we sifted through we’re really happy we chose this one.

Expected More from CuisinartOK yeah, it bakes, toasts, broils and does have a convection fan function and looks pretty. However, the hyper-critical control dials are veritably impossible to see and read and accurately set with the ‘naked’ eye. I find myself using a flashlight AND magnifying glass to set the dials, and I have excellent vision. Perhaps I will ‘memorize’ the various settings with daily use at some point. Clearly a serious design flaw. And my oven runs pretty HOT according to the unit thermostat, several initial servings of burnt toast will testify to that. Again, I trust I will acclimate to this as well over time. As I said, one would expect MUCH MORE in terms of design and ease of use from the CUISINART Brand, I know I certainly did.

Not green as the picture showsI wanted to buy a good toaster oven because my regular oven is dead, and it’s going to cost a lot to replace it as it’s an unusual size. This fits the bill. I had found one for $100. But then I saw this one, which looks green in the photo, and decided to spend an extra $30 for the color because my kitchen has green colors. The matching was important to me. However, it’s black, not green. It says “black” in the description, but I didn’t notice that. How hard is it to put a real photo of it on here?? It’s black and grey, not green. I would return it, but I’m too lazy.

Mini OvenI haven’t owned a toaster oven since the early 1970s (I’m old). My full size range oven needs to be replaced but I’m not ready to do that yet so opted for an economical substitute. I am pleasantly surprised how well the little oven works. I’ve baked muffins and banana bread, baked potatoes and twice baked potatoes, reheated chicken and leftover Brussels sprouts (in lieu of using the microwave), and roasted squash. It’s an excellent toaster, somewhat slower than a dedicated vertical toaster, but can accommodate larger, thicker bread products. It’s a great stand in, but cannot replace, a full size oven for cookie sheets or a 9×13 casserole dish. I can’t use my 12 muffin tin, but can use 2 6-muffin pans, one on each rack. I can use two 8×8 pans at a time, one on the bottom solid slide out rack and one on the wire rack.I will continue to use this little oven even after I get a full size oven, when size allows. It heats quickly, seems to maintain proper temperature setting, and so far has been easy to clean with a damp cloth. The racks are removable and can be washed in a sink (or probably a dishwasher).I find the temperature indicator, function indicator, and roast color indicator somewhat challenging to read because they’re just a small dot on the knobs, rather than something more contrasting. The controls are mechanical knobs, not digital push buttons, but seem to function well. It’s a good little oven that for me performs beyond its small footprint.

Who needs a microwave? This multi function toaster oven is a win. It heats up in seconds and is really comparable to a microwave when it comes to speed, but obviously the food is 10x better when cooked in the toaster oven. There’s two racks for different size items you can use, and it’s super easy to clean. Cooldown is fast too so there’s no need to wait long to clean. 10/10

doesn’t have a minute timerWe bought this to replace our old oven that looked exactly the same. While we are happy with our purchase, we now feel it would have been better to get a model that actually had an egg-like timer where you could set “5 minutes” rather than an abstract “light” vs “dark”The size of the oven is great – we are able to take pre-made pizza dough from TJs and cook a pizza in this oven.We wish toast wasn’t dependent on the oven temp setting. We’re always have to go back & forth between settings. Toast should just default to the highest setting in our opinion. We later found out you can’t get user replaceable parts and don’t think we will get another Cuisinart. The only thing that needed to be replaced in our last oven were the heating elements after years and years of use. We’d still be using our last oven but unfortunately, this oven is designed to go in the trash which is a bit upsetting. (and to be fair, I’m sure other brands are the same exact way!)
