Extra-Large Capacity
There’s plenty of room in this countertop oven for any meal. It fits two 12” pizzas, two 9″ x 13″ casseroles or two cake pans. Or fit an entire 5 lb. chicken using the revolving rotisserie.
|
Convection & Rotisserie
Take your roasting and baking results to the next level with two additional oven settings. The convection setting bakes faster and more evenly than traditional ovens. And the rotisserie revolves meat while cooking, which locks in flavor and juices and turns the outside brown and crispy.
|
Accessories Included
Included with your oven is everything you need to get baking, broiling and roasting right away. Including a removable drip tray, rotisserie skewer & lifter, 2 oven racks, 2 baking pans and a broiler rack.
|
Easy-to-Grip, Contoured Knobs
This countertop oven is the first of its kind to have an innovative design that makes grasping and turning the control dials easy for anyone. The timer knob includes a stop mechanism that makes the stay-on setting even safer.

Almost perfectI’ve waited 2 mos to write my review, wanting time to give it a thorough workout. It passed with flying colors, starting with a batch of chocolate chip cookies in under 8 mins (first things first is my motto), followed by a scrumptious rotisserie chicken. A couple wks later I did our 5# Christmas prime rib roast on the rotisserie, which it cooked to perfection despite my inexperience with a rotisserie. Since then I’ve rotisseried several more chickens and a pork loin roast. It does great on finishing steaks started in a skillet too. I’m looking forward to doing a turkey in a few weeks. Also, I saved and then roasted or broiled all the bones to make beef stock and chicken broth. The oven has met or exceeded my expectations on non-meat food too, including many more cookies, several cobblers and slow-bake cream pies, a dozen loaves of bread and lots of cornbread. Brownies and a birthday cake are on the list for next month.I’ve dehydrated celery, carrots and yams, and made jerky from chicken, venison and javelina. It always seems that no matter the product being purchased – oven, washer, fridge – most times, compromises must be made. In this case, I really really really wanted an interior light, and several of their models do have one. However, my primary needs were for a large capacity, a rotisserie and unlimited cooking time, all of which this model gives me. So I settle for sticking a flexible magnetized cordless light to it, next to the top dial, and remind myself that I got the features I most desired…and at a bargain price. Some general pros: This is a basic oven – it doesn’t set the table or do the dishes, no air fryer, toaster, etc – but is exactly what I wanted. Although the outer front and top get as hot as any oven, the sides are well vented and barely warm. I have no problems with butter, bananas and tomatoes 2 inches away from one side, and a jar of solidified bacon grease and creamed honey on the other side. I have limited counter space so appreciate that I needn’t worry about carelessly setting things too close.Cooking temps hold steady and accurately but I relied on a thermometer for a couple weeks until I was sure. The temp setting is by means of a variable dial marked in 50-degree increments rather than a digital readout but I’m comfortable with that. I like being able to easily increase or lower the temp by 5-15 degrees to control the amount of browning instead of covering food with foil. To compensate for convection cooking I routinely set temp 25 degrees below whatever a recipe calls for and reduce time by about 10%. I recently discovered that I can get additional browning of baked goods without cooking them longer simply by putting the pan on the included baking rack rather than on a wire rack. I don’t make toast but if I did, I’d put the bread slices in this pan.The timer can be set up to 2 hrs or unlimited – a hard-to-find feature in countertop ovens.Cons: There are only two. The light I already mentioned. The other is that the chrome, including the knobs, is so bright that it’s hard to read the settings in certain lighting unless I angle a light so that it hits to either side of the knobs. The size and font of the black letters and numbers get lost in the shine. All in all I am very happy with my convection oven. It wasn’t my first choice, or even my second, but I’m so glad it’s what I decided on to replace my 35 yr old Sharp. A good oven is like a reliable friend! I expect this relationship is going to last a good many years.

Size smaller than advertisedSize smaller than advertised. Ordered and received Hamilton Beach Countertop Rotisserie Convection Toaster Oven, Extra-Large, .Stainless Steel on November 2021The metal label on the back reads (31103DA)The size dimensions were approximately: horizontal 20 in x depth 14 in vertical 13 (12 in and 1 in attached Legs)NOT the L 17.7 x W 23.2 x H 14.5 as advertised. We paid $129.95From our inexpert measure, the inside dimensions are:Vertical : from bottom rung to top heating element is @ 7 1/2 and you need a 1in clearance so leaves @ 6 in usage.Depth is @ 11in. It already has a 1 in stop front in backHorizontal is 14 in sidewall to sidewall but a 1 in clearance is needed on each side, so that leaves 12 inches. It will fit a 14 x 11 pan that has no handles but a 12 in by 11in is needed to be able to center it away from the walls. So usable space is approximately horizontal 12 in x vertical 6 in x depth 11inIt would cook a 10 1/2 diameter pizzaSo since the oven’s size is smaller than advertised, the advertised cooking capacity is also not true……..Please advise if the 31103DA model was downsized and the advertised dimensions are not true anymore, while the cost remained the same at $129.95

I recommend this oven to anyone who needs a second oven for the countertop. The oven preheats quickly, but you need to use an oven thermometer to fine-tune the temperature. I have ordered a two-tier countertop microwave rack, but for now the oven sits directly atop my old microwave/convection oven (which will not heat above 350 degrees but still works fine as a microwave).I tried it out at several different temperatures, and it was easy to get the desired temperature with slight adjustments. The glass door did not explode at 450 degrees, which I could only get using the bake setting;) I have not tried to broil anything (nor have I used the rotisserie function so far). The coils are close to the front and back, and seem a bit far apart for broiling but I will keep an open mind and find something to broil. For the price, I doubt you can beat this oven.So far, I have only used it to bake cornbread in a cast-iron skillet, the cake in my photo (9X13, this pan fits – https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BT3T4QM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and only a pan without any kind of long hand grips on it will fit), a pound of bacon, biscuits, frozen dinners, and though I didn’t buy it to make toast I have made perfect toast with it. Everything I have tried so far has come out just as I wanted it. I plan to make shepherd’s pie and some casseroles over the holidays, and perhaps a pie or two. Sometime soon, a lasagne will follow.I’m a grumpy old man but am a bit less grumpy with a full stomach. It’s a good thing I enjoy cooking and baking. I am going to enjoy this oven and the food that comes out of it. It is well worth the price.

I would buy again.I like that it has two racks but I miss the internal light. The controls are a easy-to-use but the writing for them is hard to see. It seems like it it will be easy to keep clean.
