Repeatability is almost impossible. Though I do like it.Repeatability is almost impossible. Though I do like it. First make sure you purchase cut to size oven liners made of PTFE which should be sufficient enough if you buy enough for your oven too. Cleanup is so easy. I purchased ThreadNanny 2 pack, 17” x 25” Teflon/PTFE sheets to use for the cooking tray and the crumb tray and cut to size. I had a whole remaining sheet that I placed in the bottom of my oven for $11.99 at Amazon. So this was a great value for me.The best observation about this toaster oven is preheating. The first thing in the morning when you’re awake is to start it like on the toast level, or the broil level, and medium level. Let it run. After that you may place your bagels split on the tray with your PTFE liner and they will come out perfectly. Likewise the toast on the toast setting will be more evenly toasted. It also will be more quickly toasted as the unit is already pre-warmed. This also applies to an oven. Which I always pre-warm/preheat for at least minimum of 30 to 40 minutes before inserting any food. So setting the temperature and getting the toast for bagels and toast and warming a sandwich is problematic unless you preheat the oven.Repeatability is difficult because the knobs require you to turn it past 10 minutes and then back tone it to your desired temperature. This is common among a lot of small appliances. However repeatability is difficult I cannot wake up in the morning place my bagel on the tray and push a button and wait for the results to be identical.Leslie, there are four elements for heating one is a problem because it is in the top front right of the toaster oven near the handle of the door. After toasting or baking and reaching in with your oven mitt it is easily to be burned by this element. I don’t have any scars but I have touched it with the back of my hand many times.UPDATE: I am tired of fiddling with the doneness control for toast and bagels. So, I purchased a Ninja SP201 model, for a really great great price elsewhere, with buttons to take the guess work out and help me with the continuous monitoring of the toaster oven. Really it was like watching water boil with the Hamilton Beach. Not real fun and plus I could be doing other things in the kitchen during that time.

Opens up differently than my last Hamilton Beach…but works just as good….It was bought for the office and everyone in the office says it opens differently than the last Hamilton Beach toaster oven. It functions the same and everything about it good. Reason why we say be aware of the opening is that we had it under the counter on top of the microwave…but now it has to be on the counter based on the way the door opens. Otherwise…everything is good and no complaints…

Really like itI had a hard time finding a 6 slice plain old toaster oven, without the convection oven in it. I’m not really a fan of Hamilton Beach, but it was the only one I could find after my long lasting B & D died. So far it is doing a great job and I really like how the oven door lifts up instead of down. Cons : No color choices, only a 30 minute timer, and I think the price was twice what it should be for just a toaster oven. Hoping it will last as long as my last one.

It’s perfect for a one to two person household and the roll back door is greatThe best thing I like about this oven is the roll back door. Not a lot of whistles and bells – It’s your basic “Plain” appliance, but it works great. The timer was a bit of a surprise because it only goes up to 30 minutes, which means, if I want to bake an item longer I need to make sure I hear the timer go off to reset additional time for cooking an item that takes longer. It is compact and that is a great thing for a small kitchen. However, I can still cook or warm up a good size pizza. It is very easy to clean and it looks good on the counter. And, it fits my cooking needs.

Space saverI like this toaster oven because of the way the door opens, which saves you some space on the counter. You have to be careful when toasting. You have to make your setting on the lighter side otherwise your bread will burn. But it’s a great toaster oven otherwise.

Careful with the timer dial pleaseAnyone who sees my toaster oven remarks that they wish they had gotten one of this size, as theirs are just too small.I use this all the time, especially in the summer when I don’t want to turn on the oven. One thing I don’t understand (and this is not unique to this product) is why the furthest setting on the timer isn’t marked: “Incinerate”? Maybe this is my fault and I’ve not tried it on the lowest temperature while using this setting? It is very reliable, so glad I got this size unit; I’m used to the dial now and never burn anything…anymore.

Takes up very little counter spaceI love that you can just lift the handle up and out of the way to get to the food.
