very nicesuper well protected packaging. warning: be sure to get ALL packaging removed before use. I missed a cardboard piece way in the back of the oven supporting the lower heating element and super smoke alerted me it was there, smoldering. my bad.the oven is gorgeous. have had Kitchen Aid (gave to a friend) and a Cuisinart oven/airfryer that suddenly died. have a great Ninja airfryer/grill, so needed the oven without air fryer (and air fryer mess). cooking on convection option is fast and basically air fries anyway.sturdy, substantial. great light and timer. super easy and intuitive to operate. I like the more rectangular shape (others more boxy). light enough to easily move.very pleased!

GREAT COUNTERTOP OVEN or toaster oven as called by someBACKGROUND: First, note this reviewer USES his toaster oven ALL the TIME, remodeling ten years ago wiring and outlet installed for stove plug- no stove, instead have large Butcher Block Island table. Oyster is used as primary oven,, a two burner Waring stove top finishes stove requirements. Bottom LINE is OSTER gets USED A LOT, more than a normal ‘toaster oven’ will ever get used. Nothing decent in quality or size under $50,, and $300 Beville is way too much money (especially when some have problems). A B&D at Wally World costing under $40 is good for two years at best.. at best. And SO,,, for the bucks, size and features (including Amazon Prime two day delivery,)… reviewer bought this Oster.PRO: Shipped in decent box and arrived on time. Really is decent sized toaster oven,, DIMENSIONS are Accurate compared to previous WARING where the Pizza pan would not fit. This Oster has easy to use controls.. Instruction manual was easy to read, operation is intuitive (i.e. IF you have used products like this before; SETUP will be a SNAP,, NEVER used toast oven before? Still easy to use; as said, manual is easy to follow, having clock set and ready to cook took under thirty minutes from opening the box to cooking (chicken if you must know, taking longer to cook than setup)SO FAR, using for a couple of week, have not used Thermometer to double check Temps; however, pizza, chicken, sandwiches ,, and some of usual fare has ALL turned out as it should in normal cooking times expected. Bottom tray is VERY easy to remove from the front. Keeping inside clean, cleaning glass window door, etc. all good so far. LIGHT on inside is BIG PLUS compared to Waring which cost MORE than this unit,, Waring controlled everything with a knob, breaking within first year and COST to return for warranty not worthwhile,,,, When cooking time has ended,, oven uses ‘bing, bing bing, ‘ which repeats a couple of times,, oldster like reviewer, sometimes don’t hear it from other side of room,, BUT the LIGHT does turn OFF when cooking is done,, and Oven DOES shut itself off.RECOMMEND: YES, H _ _ _ yes. Easiest to use toast oven that been owned in past twenty years, Far better than Black & Decker, the Waring mentioned, etc. SIZE is bigger than most and CORRECT as advertised. PIZZA FITS JUST FINE. Can even buy a 10×13 baking dish which will easily fit.CON: this unit sits on Wood Butcher Block Island table, whatever the feet are made of,, doesn’t have friction on wood,, BEING VERY picky here,, sometimes when pushing keypad to set Temp and Time for cooking (Really is EASY to USE and Set,, bake, default is 350 temp, keypad + or – key to raise or lower temp, then do same + or – for Time,, Broil is another keypad item, then set time, etc)…. SOMETIMES THE OVEN SLIDES BACKWARDS on the Wood table,, owner has placed hand on back of oven when touching keypad,, NOT a big deal.. Better this way than keypad so sensitive that you are forced to redo mistakes all the time. Second ‘con’ is worse, a real biggies, when cooking is done, the light is off,, you must push keypad for Stop (cancel) or the ‘END’ remains in display and if you are turning over chicken in pad,, cooking for another 20-minutes,,, cannot reset NEW time, unless you have pushed ‘End’ to cancel the previous ‘instructions… Takes all of a whole SECOND to do.. … and you likely would NEVER have paid any attention if reviewer had not mentioned,, Really hard to find something to ‘CON” here. Give this paragraph all the ‘attention’ it deserves,, :)-(: Really is a good VALUE for a Toaster Oven.. Solid 5-Star product, given 4-Stars ,ONLY reason for 4-Stars, One-Star was deducted since Longevity has yet to be determined,, standard practice for this reviewer with only a few rare exceptions, Reason for deducting and RATING are always given; allowing reader or potential buyer to evaluate for themselves. This reviewer always looks for LARGEST number reviews possible, then 5-Star must be twice as many as ALL the 4-3-2&1 review numbers combined

Pretty goodHaving read all the reviews of this product plus a ton of reviews of other toaster ovens I decided to give this one a shot. A few things right off the bat:1. My toaster oven came with all 4 feet so it’s balanced and doesn’t slide around.2. The main rack is very flimsy. I’ve never seen a toaster oven where the welded individual bars vibrate like heavy guitar strings. However, since some folks have had this oven for 4 years I suppose (hope) there isn’t a durability issue.3. As others have pointed out the buttons are not like the ones on a microwave. They do work, but sometimes it’s a hit and miss proposition.4. Just a hunch…but having read 2 groups of comments regarding the rack…1. The toaster oven should have come with 2 racks. 2. The toaster oven didn’t come with any rack….I’ve concluded that some (unscrupulous) folks probably ordered this item, removed the rack, returned the item, got a full refund, then reordered the identical item, thus ending up with an oven with 2 racks, while some folks who ordered a returned toaster oven received one with no rack at all. Just my take.Pros:* Nice easy to set clock that so far has kept perfect time* Looks nice on the counter* After some experimentation (not using toaster setting but rather convection bake on 400 2 minutes one side 1.5 minutes the other side) toast came out really well* Alert bell when toasting is done* Light on the inside that can be turned on/off. Some more expensive Oster models have a light but no light switch. The light comes on and stays on as long as the unit is cooking something. That’s ridiculous IMO. This is a much better system.* Works pretty well on all functions but appears to run hot compared to my previous Oster toaster oven so I adjust temps and times down accordingly.* The handle is curved so it’s possible to lift it up (from underneath, always) from the corner where it’s curved without needing oven mitts when it’s open, resting on the counter.* It seems relatively easy to clean, so far.* The convection fan seems quieter than on my older analog Oster model.* Broiler works nicelyCons:* Main rack (without which the oven is useless) is the flimsiest I’ve ever seen in any toaster oven and they are discontinued so it’s impossible to ever get a replacement should one ever be needed. However, as stated above, people have been using this oven for years and the rack seems to have stood up well over time, so it’s a minor con.* Buttons have no tactile feedback so it’s common to have to press them more than once to get the result you want* It’s time consuming pressing the up/down time and temp buttons to get the desired time/temp setting, as opposed to a unit with knobs. But that’s just the nature of the digital beast I suppose. (Although some digital models use knobs.) And when you hold down the up/down arrows the numbers move more quickly than individual presses. All in all I’d have to say this is an improvement over my older more basic Oster model. Personally I prefer knobs to up/down arrows but at least when you hold down the arrows the numbers move more quickly. I like the light and the ability to switch it on/off as desired. The convection fan seems quieter than on my older Oster. And once I figured out that I need to adjust the temps and/or time down from my older model, and turn over the things I’m baking halfway through (something I really didn’t need to do on my older model) the results are stellar. Finally, I like the broiler…once I remembered to move the rack up to the top position. (At first I had it in the lower position and was all ready to criticize the “lousy broiler” like other reviewers had. Then as soon as I moved the rack to the proper position it made all the difference in the world. VERY nice broiler!)My only real regret is that this model has been discontinued and it’s impossible to get replacement parts, even from sites that specialize in selling Oster parts. So I guess when this one dies I’ll just have to replace the whole unit.

Excelente!!Es liviano, fácil de limpiar, luce muy bien en la cocina y el control de la temperatura es acertado. La puerta se abre completamente así que es mas cómodo para revisar los alimentos. Estoy feliz

Tremendous value for the priceWe live in a small efficiency apartment where a toaster oven and microwave are our only means of cooking. Furthermore, the wiring doesn’t support high-power-consumption appliances. We really weren’t sure if this toaster oven was going to do the job for us and work in our low-wattage environment. But it’s been fantastic! This is the very same brand we’ve been using for several years, and they’ve always been reliable even though we use the heck out of them on a daily basis (usually more than once a day). But this particular model is the best we’ve had yet. It cooks so quickly and evenly that it makes meals faster to prepare and better to eat. For some reason, meats are especially juicier in this oven. The only drawback we see, and it’s pretty minor, is that the handle on the oven door gets warm when it’s cooking. But that happens with a regular oven too. So just be smart, and prepare to be pleased with this oven.

I had one exactly like this, a earlier model and it was exactly what I needI use it to cook everything. I have a gas range that heats the house up so I use this as a substitute

Good countertop applianceStill getting use it it. Transitioned from a true toaster oven. Now that I am cooking at proper temps (not just where the dial landed) things are taking longer but cooked better. Appearance of the appliance is nice. The controls are easy to use. Just like with any touch control sometimes you need to push it twice but that’s cool. Ample cooking space. Very easy cleanup

Good toaster/convection oven with one problemThis oven works well and cooks evenly but the control buttons aren’t user friendly so I deducted one star. In order to set the cook time and temperature on this oven you have to hit the buttons several times to get it to register. This is annoying and frustrating I had to continually poke at and hit the control buttons while trying to cook chicken today and this happens every time. The performance of the oven is great and it cooks and browns very well but it slows me down because the buttons aren’t sensitive enough to register the on first tap the time, temperature, and other functions on the first try. Other than this problem it’s a good toaster oven. UPDATE: After using this toaster oven for a few months the button issue has improved. I can now tap the button and it responds quickly and almost always the first time. When I first started using it I tapped the buttons with the handle of silicone mixing spoon then the buttons responded. Just an update for anyone interested in purchasing this oven. Hope it helps.

Third one I have bought, it’s great!Over the last 9 years, I have bought 3 of this exact same model. The previous 2 were left at the homes I sold and they worked great for years. I am currently moving into a new, small home and one of the first things I did was order the exact same model. It works great, the removeable tray in the bottom makes it VERY easy to clean and it’s big enough to do everything I need. I didn’t even have an oven in my last place, and this was perfect for my needs. I recommend this with total confidence.

Not as good as my old toaster oven…but I still like it Bunches! This toaster oven cooks toast more evenly but you must turn it down from factory settings or everything burns. toast set at 4 move to 3. down 1 notch on all then it’s Great.
