I’d like to rate this a 3.5 out of 5. As it’s a good product, just not a great one. Things I like about it is the size of the waffles. I would not call these mini, I call them just right. Probably about the same size as an Eggo although I haven’t bought those in about 20 years. Cooking time is 5 – 7 minutes to get a crisp outside and soft inside. The non-stick coating works well although I do still grease it. I use bacon fat as that gets the nice crispy outside. Some design challenges I see are that when you open it, because the top weighs more than the base, the unit tips back. So in order to keep the waffle mix level, you have to hold the lid and pour the mix. Not so easy. Also, the unit, as you’re told is very hot and can burn your arm, so I turned the unit so that the lid is on my right so that I open it to the right and that way my arm isn’t getting burning but this also means I’m pouring with my left. Oh well, suppose it’s good practice. Anyway, for the price, I like this product. It gives us two normal size waffles each and I don’t have to turn the unit upside down. The spill trays also work well.
Cleaning isn’t so great as the trays aren’t removable but again, for the price, I can live with it. The waffles turned out very good.

I bought the single dash to make chaffles in but each chaffle takes about 4 to 5 minutes. You can imagine how long it takes if you want to make enough for the week, especially if other people are eating them too. With this 4 slot waffle maker, i can get the entire thing done in about ten minutes. It was very reasonably priced, in my opinion. I love it! It’s fairly easy to clean too.

We love this waffle maker – I needed something that made multiple waffles at once because I have 5 kids who love waffles and one waffle at a time was not doing it. We have 2 little dash waffle makers, so we were already dash fans. This makes 4 waffles at a time along with 2 waffle sticks. It is very easy to use – my kids use it all the time to make regular waffles or egg waffles when they want a snack

I got this because I loved the mini dash I have, but found myself wanting to make a whole batch of waffles. It has worked great since I got it. Really love the overflow channels on each side which keeps the batter from overflowing if you add a bit too much. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit challenging to clean, as you can’t take it apart or submerge in water. But it’s worth it for how easy it is to use.

We have had the single dash waffle maker for about four years now and absolutely love it.
After having our first kid, I wanted a time saving a way to make waffles and decided to buy a waffle maker that had a reversible plate so we could do sandwiches on the other side. It felt cheap right out of the box (although it wasn’t inexpensive), and broke within a couple of months.
We’ve been back to the single waffle maker now and have our second kid so making waffles I every Saturday morning is definitely a time consuming act of love.
I was excited to see that Dash made a waffle maker that could make four waffles at a time, so I bought it right away! And let me just say – it does not disappoint!
Right out of the box it felt substantial, and my first time using it I was so impressed!
I typically start making waffles, then put bacon into the oven, then continue making waffles, then whip some heavy cream, then continue making waffles, then get fruit ready, then pull bacon out of the oven and continue making waffles… Hi I learned today that I need to change up my routine because my waffles are done so fast! I expected this machine to take longer than the single waffle maker because you’re making for it a time… But I don’t think it does. Waffles were done before the bacon and before I got around to getting our fruit prepped. Needless to say, waffles were a little cold by the time we ended up eating but they were delicious and I’m so excited for the time I get back in my weekend mornings!

Absolutely love this Dash waffle maker, instead of having multiple mini dash’s, well, this is a time saver. I can make just one or multiple for the family, easy to clean, stand up to store away and heats up quickly. The overflow wells are brilliant, no waste and no having to clean the counter. This has become one of my favorite kitchen gadget’s

Makes the perfect – Eggo sized waffles! I wanted to get away from the store bought, pre-made waffles that are loaded with stuff I no longer wish to have in my diet, but wanted the same size and shape of waffles – so my family wouldn’t object as much to ‘new’ waffles. I was thrilled to see this waffle maker and hoped it would work well – and it does! I have zero complaints or issues with this waffle maker.
Very simple to use. Just plug it in and it heats to a preset temp, that is perfect for cooking this size waffle. No hassle trying to find the right temp with a dial, and no dial to get moved by accident. No need for a latch, never needed one on any waffle maker I’ve owned – the top needs to be able to rise as the waffles puff for a minute anyhow – so not sure why people think this needs a latch?
The waffle iron – plates do not come off, so cleaning can be an issue if you get stuff stuck all over the iron. But so far, I’ve only cooked flour type waffles in this and use a spray on avocado oil and my waffles don’t stick. I use a silicone basting brush to spread the spray oil around and to do light cleaning as well – that is a great waffle iron tool! When I’m done cooking and the waffle maker has cooled, I use that same silicone brush to brush the waffle iron and spread any leftover oil, and it also knocks off any crumbs that may be left, then I use a paper towel to wipe around the waffle area to clean those none cooking areas and put the maker away. For one mess I made, where I ended up with over cooked batter in one area, I used a fingernail brush, that I keep at the sink, to brush off the dried on crusty batter and that worked great too.
I did try making some egg and cheese waffles, but my daughter didn’t like them, so those are off the menu. But they did cook well and didn’t leave too big of a mess – if I didn’t over fill the spots. I might try adding bacon bits to my savory waffle mix and see where that leads – probably to overeating waffles. LOL

I like it because it makes 4 Chaffles at once, and because they are so small, you do not get the eggy omelette taste of a regular big waffle iron.

This Waffle maker is great! I don’t know why anyone would have a problem with it. The handle on it is not weak or anything. If someone received theirs broken, I would say just send for another one. But I’m sure it’s not because the handle is cheaply made or anything. As for dropping it, I would expect that any alliance would break or chip if it was dropped. This is a sturdy strong Waffle maker and it works very well, heats evenly and everything. I bought the mini one waffle waffle maker, same brand, for my child and it worked pretty good so I decided to get this bigger one. I am NOT disappointed! Totally recommend.

Yesterday, I made strawberry waffles with fresh strawberries in the batter. The waffles came out perfect. The recipe I used made 16 four inch waffles. I loved them so much I made another batch and put them in the freezer so I could just pop them in the toaster when I wanted one. Now I want to try blueberry! The waffle iron worked wonderfully and I am so happy I made this purchase! It’s fast and easy and I only had to spray the waffle iron one time through all 38 waffles that were made. Love, love this waffle iron!!!
