Love it!Pros:1) It tastes so much better than my old 6 cup Brita! I think it’s because it’s twice aerated (internally and at the glass) and because the filter isn’t immersed in the water for hours each day.2) I refill once every 2 days vs 7 times in two days.3) Even the pets enjoy Brita water and drink more water with the larger dispenser. (I started using Brita water for them when my dog had kidney disease – it made a big difference.)4) It slides forward, so you don’t wind up playing Refrigerator Jenga every time you want some water.5) It takes up about 1.5 times the same space as the 6 cup. (Taller, no handle). I have enough room behind it for a pickle jar/mayo/soda cans.6) I prefer the aerated taste over bottled water.Cons:1) It’s a little heavy when you fill the top compartment twice. (So I bought a pitcher for refills.) (A clean empty 2 liter soda bottle would work.)2) The spigot seems very close to the refrigerator floor (so I put a clean wood shim under it on the left edge). A 1/4″ cutting board would also work.3) You never completely empty it unless you remove it from the fridge. Every 3-4 days I prefer to empty it out into the sink. Since it’s almost empty anyway, it’s very lightweight.4) It’s bulkier (but lightweight). You trade fiddling with that little tab on the 6 cup (I kept a flat blade screwdriver in the kitchen so I could take it apart and wash it) for being careful not to knock the spigot on the 27 cup. Taking the 27 cup apart (to clean it) is so easy. To clean the spigot internally pour some white vinegar into 1 cup water and drain, followed by 2 cups of water.Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and wish I’d bought it earlier. My dogs and cat love it too!

Absolutely love!I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow me to install a filter system so I have basically been using brita pitchers for a while. I’ve had the smaller one and I can’t tolerate the taste of room temp water, I had to pour it over into another pitcher to put in the fridge while the small one Id leave on the kitchen counter for easy access to filtered water when cooking. Such a headache! I can’t believe I didn’t purchase this before! Would’ve definitely saved me a lot of headache. It’s big so it fits a lot of water but not so big that it’s awkward to fit in the fridge. It doesn’t leak, super comfy to pour water from- the spout gives easy access to water and saves me an extra step! I also like the sticker that it comes with because it reminds you when it’s time to change the filter. Basically all around love this product!

Love pitcher, but more expensive filter lasted only 1-1/2 mo before red replace light came on.I love the pitcher. Easy to fill and use and clean. Fits inside our fridge. Water tastes very good. But the long-lasting filter that came with it lasted only 1-1/2 months. We don’t use it more than average. Our water is no harder or worse than average. I’ve had other filters from other brands last a lot longer. Though I think this one gives the better tasting water. I hope a brand new, separately purchased filter of the same type will last longer. Maybe the filter that came with it was old? Other than that, I’m happy with this purchase. Not happy it’s made of plastic. And not sure about the quality of this plastic. But bottled water comes in plastic, and tap water can be full of stuff this filter removes. I have not tested the filtered water for overall purity.

Encourages WaterI have had this product for a few months now and very happy with my purchase! It holds a fair amount of water so I don’t have to constantly refill. I’m someone who is picky with water and it tastes refreshing. Easy to use and fits in fridge well. Would definitely purchase again.

Does the job rightThe last time I bought a Brita product was maybe 8-ish years ago. It was a pitcher rather than this dispenser style and that was way before the Elite filters existed (I think). The Elite filters make all the difference. The time it takes to filter is so vastly reduced it blew my mind. The flow through the filter is nearly as fast as the flow rate from my kitchen sink. Well worth it to help clean up this nasty Austin water.

Makes water great!I never really like the small Brittas that I would have to keep taking out of the refrigerator so I got this one to dispense the water and it will always be cool because it’s in my refrigerator. It has a large capacity and definitely take the mineral flavor out of my tapwater. I switched from water bottles to reusing my Camelback. I’m usually pretty picky as I don’t like mineral water and this has helped me a lot.

Awesome water filter! We have hard water that contains elements that produce odor and a bitter taste to the water. I bought this filter based on reviews on its performance and am completely satisfied with it! It takes out the bad taste and the odor and gives a nice refreshing glass of water in return. I live alone so it is just me but chose this size as i drink usually 64-80 oz. of water a day in addition to what i use to cook with or use for coffee and tea. I highly recommend this size and type of model as it has the pour spicket and the top pour “hatch” . Works well for counter top dispensing. I dont put it in the frig i filter the water in the dispenser first then pour into a separate pitcher from that for refrigeration so i can always have full dispenser for use at any time.

Works Well, but Hard to Get Filters InPersonally, I’ve had a hard time getting the filters in tight a few times with these. If they aren’t in securely, the water seeps around the edges of the filters and you just get tap water. With maneuvering, I can get them in now, and then the water tastes great. I love the size in terms of slipping it easily in the fridge. I drink a lot of water and usually have to refill it every other day, and I’m the only one drinking from it!

Perfect for Stinky Tap WaterI live out in the boonies, with an old water well, and sometimes it has the stinky sulfur smell. And it just tastes odd to me. We go through almost two cases of water per week, and I thought I’d give this a try to save us some money. It works! The water tastes just fine, like a bottle of purified water. I love the dispenser on it, and I love that I don’t have to fill it up every single day.

Using it in my owners suite bathroom upstairs – must have for gout sufferersI finally got it. After months of debating I pulled the trigger. First initial thought taste is great. Better than the straight out the bathroom faucet. It’s large. I can fill about 32ounces X 5 times. It filters fast almost instantly. Happy with product saves me a trip downstairs when hung over or when gout hits. Cheers
