Work great! AND NO PLASTIC TASTE!This is a replacement for my old thermos cup/mug, of a similar but older design.This one works just as well as the old! So far, it keeps my coffee hot-hot-hot for 6 hours or so, which is when I usually start sipping on it. Of COURSE it starts to cool a little after that, as I’m breaking the seal and constantly exposing it to cool air, but in the 2 or 3 hours it takes me to finish off my coffee, it’s still really hot, just not fresh-out-of-the-pot hot as when I start drinking it.As for reviewers talking about the plastic taste….do you people thoroughly WASH new drink ware you purchase? I mean, REALLY wash it?I took the lid apart, even the rubber O-ring, and ran it through the dishwasher. Lo and behold, NO PLASTIC TASTE when I put it together and used it! If you don’t have a dishwasher, then still take it apart completely, soak it in clean, soapy water for a few minutes, agitate it around, then brush clean it and rinse the heck out of it.I’ll almost guarantee that’s why people are complaining about the plastic taste…it may be NEW, but it NEEDS TO BE WASHED thoroughly BEFORE you start using it!The new design of the lid…I’m not sure yet if it’s an improvement. It doesn’t seem to be any more or less sturdy than the old design, so I’ll have to see if it holds up. If it breaks, trust me, I’ll update here. My last thermos cup lasted for 8 years of constant use, so if this one breaks before THAT one…I’ll be quite unhappy…but it doesn’t seem like I should have any issues.

compact leakproofthis travel mug is great for carrying hot or cold drinks in cars and does not require too much preconditioning like adding hot water before it keeps drinks hot, or adding iced water before it keeps cold drinks cold. You can pour the hot or cold drink right away. It will keep them at the temperature they are at, for a few hours. It saves a lot of time and hassle. Today, when everyone is on the go, all the time, especially.

Oh YeahI normally drink my coffee quick but I decided to take my time after buying this. I didn’t do a test to see how long it would stay hot I just took a sip every 5 minutes or so until ran out. Took me 3 hours to finish and the coffee was still hot. Not warm but actually hot. As far water. I did do a cold test. from the time I started work to the time I finished (10 hours) this bottle actually kept my juice cold. I would HIGHLY recommend this

This travel mug is so beautiful!I’m so in love with this travel mug, from the color to the feel is just perfect, it’s leak proof and the trigger system is so convenient and it really works wonders for drinking on the go without mess.The only reason I gave it only four stars is that the lid keeps odor and it’s difficult to remove them, once I drinked a tea and after that I soaked the lid in hot water with baking soda (as the manufacturer suggest) and a week after that I still tasted and smelled the tea from the lid.They suggest keep away the dairy products from this cup and there is the reason, I drinked once a latte from it and it smelled like milk another week, I just keep letting the lid sitting overnight in hot water sometimes with baking soda, sometimes with vinegar, but the best solution for me is just use the cup only for coffee, or sometimes water (but it will smell and taste a bit like coffee).It keeps my coffee (from my coffee machine) warm 6 hours (if I first let the cup sit with hot water).The cold beverages remains cold for the whole day.The bottle also is very resistant, I dropped it recently and it got a barely noticeable dent.
