We are situated in the heart of Canada’s agricultural heartland and it allows us to source the majority of ingredients we use from growers we know and trust. We can’t always source our ingredients close to home, but we always strive to do it and we always need to know who our suppliers are and what standards they live by. The quality of our foods is a direct result of the quality of ingredients we use. We are very discerning on who we partner with and it’s always better when we can call them ‘neighbors’. |
Affordable ProductsWe believe quality nutrition doesn’t need to be a budget buster. The fact we operate in Canada with a facility we own and sourcing direct from growers, we can pay forward exemplary nutrition that is affordable. Horizon is a family owned maker of pet food located in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, Canada. We own our production facilities and are proud to be actively sourcing from our neighboring agricultural community. We began in 2006 and have grown a lot since our humble beginnings. It is our mission to make pet foods that are grounded in nutritional science, only use ingredients that are purposeful and can be sourced from growers we know. Because we operate where and how we do, we are also passionate to pay forward our production advantages by making exemplary foods that are affordable.
