Peggy S. Myers –
These used to come vacuum sealed and were fresher and stayed nice longer. My dogs still love them and when sliced they make great pill pockets. Just wish they would still come vacuum sealed for the freshness factor.
Miss Priss –
I’ve tried another brand of chicken hearts, but this is FABULOUS compared to that. All these hearts are the same smallish size with nothing else attached to them. My dog, Vinny, started barking after he ate one, demanding more! Maggie (5 lb Yorkie could eat them w/o being cut up and they weren’t one bit greasy like the other brand. I just ordered another sack because I love my dogs and they say wolves let the leader eat first from the kill and he eats the organs. So, I am buying them organ meat. I feed it to them freeze dried and they love love love them. I quit feeding them regular dog food and now feed them fresh food that was tried, not on animals, but on humans, and Vinny has lost tremendous weight. He gallops around the house and in the yard now, where he use to barely walk at all. My pets are so important to me and I never wouldv’e ate what I was feeding them in the. Past. I’ve tried everything they eat and it’s delicious. At the supermarket, they have a refrigerator in the pet section where the fresh food I buy is located. I buy them Turkey Jerky as another snack and I sleep well knowing they eat well. Vinny’s ribs are finally showing. He was a rescue dog. He’s a mutt. Maggie is a Yorkie and use to hardly eat anything, but now she waits eagerly for dinner and snacks. My cat, Rudd, eats the chicken hearts, also, and the fresh meat and veggies for cats. We have a loving and trim household now. TRY THESE CHICKEN HEARTS! THEY ARE UNBELIEVEABLE!!

I have been purchasing dried chicken hearts from other brands for my pets, but recently I found this product and realized that the price was actually much better for the amount than buying the smaller packs. Since I regularly purchase them, it was a wise investment. These freeze-dried hearts were not quite as moisture-free as others I have purchased, which I don’t like quite as well simply because I use the hearts as a vessel for a liquid supplement I give my pets. The drier they are, the more easily they absorb the liquid supplement, which my pets then gobble up. These are a little oilier. If you’re using them strictly as treats, your pets may actually prefer this! For my purposes, they really aren’t too much oilier, so it’s not enough to take a star off the rating, and it’s still much more worth the price. As a treat, I like that these hearts provide really beneficial nutrients to my pets and are very natural. My pets LOVE them. Even the smallest (~4 lbs) has no problem chowing down on a whole heart. As gross as I find them, this is a much more efficient and tidy way for me to give my pets healthy organ meat than keeping raw organs in our vegetarian (the humans, at least!) household.

I was buying a different brand and then they were out, so I tried these. My cat hated these would not eat them. Other brand he was eating 8-10 a day.

My 6 1/2 lb Maltese dog Casper, loves these chicken hearts, he wants these over all his other food and snacks, and he isn’t suffering from allergies, all red and watery around his eyes like he was, his teeth and fur look better,l must say l love to see him feeling and looking better,l was so happy to have found your chicken hearts in a large 21 oz bag than those tiny little 3oz. bags, even at $42.00 a bag it’s expensive but worth it and so is he, the little guy has been through a lot,he lost his left front leg back on July 10th,2018, it got bit off by a German Shepard when he just turned 7yrs.old,we bought him a Happy Birthday shirt to wear, l sewed up the left sleeve so he couldn’t rip out his stitches,he hops along now but not to far before he tires out because he carries 60% of his body weight on his right front leg.. we truly say,Thank you so much for the 21oz packages, keep up the good work…Sincerely…Alice Hamilton. P.S. We will definitely be ordering 21oz chicken hearts again.

These are FABULOUS! My dogs love them so much they will not eat their old brand of treats and more. They are spoiled enough that they refuse the other treats when offered and run over to where we keep the bag of these wonderfully delicious doggie delights! They say the4y can be rehydrated and fed as a raw diet, but, since they are too pricey, I use them as treats and my tiny B.T. and my small Yorkie get 3 in the morning and 3 at night and are only offered a good quality dry dog food with some soft kibbles sprinkled on top for in between chow. They are WONDERFUL!
