I wanted a Drone that I could fly in the house cause of the weather outside. I have a Ruko F11 Pro that you can’t fly indoors. So, I looked all the small Drones and the features they had. The Ruko F11 Mini had all that I was looking for and the price was great. So, I got it and learned all about it and flying it was so fun, It is stable and hovers in the same spot hands free and maintained altitude. It is really responsive to the controls. But indoors I found that maybe I am a beginner. I did ok so that means the Ruko F11 Mini would be great for a beginner to learn on. It’s tuff and can take a beating. It’s also fast and would work great outside. I highly recommend this Drone and give it a 5-star rating.

Drone operates well for it’s size. I purchased this drone with the intention of using it for short flights to get an aerial perspective of outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, etc).
This is my first drone and I found the operation to be simple thanks to the clear and straightforward directions in the app. The app gives step by step instructions and has a beginner mode which made takeoff/landing much easier.
The drone itself is very small and seems durable, which is great as I intend to carry it in a small day pack. The foldable arms are sturdy and the side shields for the camera lens give me confidence when flying.
As others have mentioned, customer service is excellent. The controller for my first drone did not operate as expected, but once I reached out, customer service resolved my concern quickly.
I did deduct a star due to the somewhat jerky video while turning and the limited range. I will admit that this is more an issue with my expectations than with the drone itself. The specs clearly state the capabilities of the drone.
Overall, I’m happy with the product and look forward to adding perspective to my next adventure.

I like the remote control is rechargeable v battery. I like the bag it comes in. The fact that you get two 60 min battery is great. Gives me time to get use to flying before the battery runs out. I am just learning how to fly, and I have been having a good time just learning how to take off and land right now.
Easy to learn to fly. The App. is easy to follow along to get stared to fly. The camera takes great pictures.
Glad I picked this Drone as my first Drone.
Customer service through Ruko is great.
They got back to me right away with all my questions. 5star in my eyes.
I would recommend to anyone who is starting out and want a nice Drone, not a toy. It’s a nice looking starter Drone.

first off ruko customer service may take some time to get you a good technical answer but they are very good and like you to be happy. I broke some props, had some questions about do i need locktite on my mini f11 answer was no. then they sent me free of charge 4 boxes of props.. original email to props in hand maybe 12 days. the drone itself is a bit more dificult to review as it is winter and I am flying it with thick winter gloves on. excellent run time as advertised. my wind limit seems to be 10 mph no gusts anything more and its rough. I should do a full review after I have gotten to take my winter gloves off.

This drone is awesome! I am definitely a beginner but after flying it a couple times i can pretty much make it go where I want it to. It is easy to learn and the auto take off and auto return feature makes flying this drone a piece of cake!
The customer service is awesome as well! I had an issue with my battery and I emailed them about it. I only had to provide my order number and shipping address and they are sending me one asap! The battery life is as advertised as well! Overall Im glad I picked this drone and if i get another in the future it will definitely come from Ruko!

Update on 1/2/23 here’s an excerpt from a log:
12/9/22 I decided to download the Ruko Mini app and fly the Mini. To my surprise it flew fairly well. I flew it for 8 minutes for 3 flights. The furthest was 223m!
12/12/22 I flew at the Telegraph Rd lot. I flew 235m distance. Never lost connection with controller, but lost GPS calibration twice. I have to keep raising the altitude, while returning home to prevent crashing. It’s real seat of my pants stuff!
1/1/23 flew well for 4 flights. One flight went 267m. That’s the most for this Mini.

Update on 12/1/22
Shortly after I wrote my previous review, the drone kept disconnecting from the controller. When this happened, the voltage for the controller would show nothing. This happened every few seconds. Ruko’s customer support is terrific. They asked me to send the flight log. After they viewed it, they sent a replacement controller at no charge. I had the same issue with the new controller. Eventually, Ruko sent me a new F11 Mini. It flew great on the first day and flew 312m for a best distance for the Mini. After that, the performance was actually worst than the first F11 Mini. Besides losing connection with the controller, it would land without vertical control because it would lose calibration. Two days ago, I couldn’t calibrate the drone at 2 different parking lots, while I had no problems with the much larger F11. This was even after reinstalling the Ruko Mini app. My experience is similar to some other reviews. I love my F11 and U11 Pro drones. I just don’t know what’s up with the F11 Mini!

Pictures are great. I’ve had the F11 Mini for more than 1 week and I took daily notes. Here’s a summary:
– the drone doesn’t fly past 200m on most flights. It’s supposed to fly 500m. The furthest flight to date is 258m. I have yet to fly a drone that goes as far as the descriptions say. It will usually return home because the controller battery is temporarily low. Sometimes the drone returns on its own because it needs a compass recalibration.
– the drone flies backward, during return to home. That makes for interesting videos.
– this drone doesn’t send any pics to the phone. You have to use an SD card. Then while connected to the drone’s wifi, you can download the pics to the phone. Don’t try downloading videos, because the files are huge. You can pop the card in your phone or computer to view and copy videos and pics. The videos are 2688 x 1512 and a 2:52 video takes up 650MB! These files are huge!
– the batteries will last for 25 to 30 minutes. I had one defective battery, so I contacted Ruko. They sent me a free replacement. Ruko’s customer service has always been great!
