It’s pretty accurate for a simple, plastic, inexpensive scale. Close enough for me.
Each tick is 1/4 oz on the imperial side and 5g on the metric side (the ticks are closer together on the metric side)..

Really impressed with the design of these small scales. Just what I need to weigh food for my pets. Great that either g or oz can be so easily selected. Have been using a battery one and it was driving me made by showing Lo in spite of frequent battery changes.

This is one of the best food scales I have purchased and it’s a steal for the price! It is mini sized and goes up to 16 oz and easy to transport from the home to the office. It’s ready to use and doesn’t require any batteries. The thing I love about this the most is that the scale is easily adjustable and I can reset it at 0 oz once I place the plate on the scale to weight out food accordingly. My previous scale I had did not allow me to reset the scale and I’d have to manually subtract the weight of the plate from anything I’d place in it so definitely a step up!

Good little unit but This was a lot smaller than we thought. I liked that it could be stowed away smaller but for what we used it for, it didn’t work so we returned it for a bigger digital. We prefer analog but they’re harder to find I guess. No issues with u to but too small for our needs. It would be great for smaller single portions of grain, herbs, etc.
