I got it for my home as I was sick of feeding batteries to our digital one which was fitzy anyways. It was bigger than I expected, my fault for not paying attention to the size, but so far it has been easy to use and seems accurate enough for my purposes. Looks nice.

We use this scale thousands of times a day in our pizza business and are pleased with its performance. Only problem is after 6 months to a year the needle does not move as smoothly which makes us worry about correct measurements.

I use this scale often. I mostly use it when I make a crock pot full of food and then divide the full pot into meals of the same weight. This scale works well and is easy to clean.

I was really looking forward to using this scale. Unpacked it, let it come to room temperature and followed the instructions about placing a weight on the platform and removing it several times. The platform always seemed to hang up if a light weight was placed on it. If a heavier weight was placed on it, the platform hung when the weight was removed.
I’ve attached a photo which shows the empty platform stuck at 11 ounces with no weight on it.
Also, the zero knob (on top of the scale behind the platform) does not work. After turning several times, the needle jumps to the other side of the 0 mark.
Finally, everything I read about this scale says the platform is removable–mine isn’t.
Did I get a lemon? I want to love this scale but right now I do not.

Nice that you need no batteries and associated no fancy gadgets. What you see is what you get. The only drawback is the size of the scale, but I find it extremely useful!!! I highly recommend this product

I’ve been using mechanical scales for the last 50 years. I always place the object to be weighted on the scale then push down a little to let the spring find its own center. This scale always “bobbles” back to the same number.
If you want a non electric scale, you can’t go wrong with this one.
