I own the 3L version, and definitely not bad for what I gave for it its easy to use and not near as hard to clean as some folks make it out to be, and while it is stamped stainless and definitely not a premium quality product the edges were not sharp enough on mine to present a danger as some folks implied theirs was. (Begs the question as to what in the world they were actually doing with theirs?) mine came with 2 extra plunger seals. I would of given it 5 stars but there are some minor things that prevent that. one the crank handle finish ( that part is not stainless) on mine was extremely poor quality and rusted and pitted. The plunger does not come apart for easy cleaning, how ever while it is a bit cumbersome the machine can be cleaned in the sink. plus side it really isn’t hard to use. and a darn site faster than an electric grinder with a stuffer attachment. you can get a better quality Machine but it is going to cost you at least 3 times the price. So it’s well worth the 125.99 I gave for mine

Late arrival, opened the box to find rust on the handle, everything else seems ok because it’s all stainless steel. Product is a great value but I can say make sure you check everything out closely, there was sharp bits of metal inside the threads of the spout. The edges of the side pieces are very sharp so watch youngsters if your going to let them help with making stuff. The gasket that came on the press was already rolled over so I have to use a new one already, luckily they ship extras with it. I have not used it yet but it looks very well built and sturdy, here’s to getting allot of use out of it.

First i will list problems then good points. It isnt very sturdy when filling your sausage, needs a bigger bottom plate or something, keeps wanting to tip over. When filling the sausage, meat keeps pushing past the top plate, tryed all gaskets they sent, didnt help. And last after you crank it back up, there isnt anything like a latch or something to keep the pusher plate from falling down. Now the good. Very large and can fit alot of product, i did 50lbs of meat in about 4 tubes. Also to tips are quite long and can fit a fair amount of casings. And was Easy to come apart for cleaning.

Ordered this product basis other reviews I read. I was expecting a decent mid range stuffer, this was not the case. As soon as i opened and place it on the table, I could see the Quality. The Base was not evenly attached and it had a wable. On further review, the Plunger head is not removable, so for cleaning this is a major headache. The gears, are very unstable. I started winding up and down and you could see the gear rod moved all over. Lastly, when I removed the Holding Canister to take a look, the gear rod actually dropped down. This was a major indicator of quality. The only quality parts i could see where the Stuffing Tubes and Meat Canister. If you decide to give it a try, be prepared to pay the Return Postage to get this back…Not impressed. I don;t often review products, because most of the time Amazon Products are good. This was not the case this time.

This stuffer works great and I am very happy with it. However, do yourself a favor before your first use…take the gasket off and soak it in warm/hot water then add some cooking oil to it. I don’t blame the seller for this because who knows how long it has been on the shelf, but it probably needs done. It will save you a huge mess, trust me LOL.
Other than that, easy to use, pretty easy to clean, I love it. Highly recommend.

First off this thing saves alot of time. Last year I did 50 lbs of sausage with my grinder and took two people 6 hours. Yesterday we did 50 lbs bratwurst and 50 lbs sausage in about 2 hours. Takes longer to tie than to stuff. I have two complaints. First getting the pot out was very hard. I ended up taking the base off and drilling bigger holes to make it fit like it should. Second, I feel the handle needs to be longer or it needs geared down. I’m 280 lbs and had a little trouble cranking it. Other than that it’s a time saver for sure.

Liked price, but gearing for stuffing doesn’t seem right, very hard to turn

Poor quality, can us too big or out of round. Meat leaks by the plunger.
