It work but it’s not solid wood it’s plywood and the handle is a little to short

The unfinished wood isn’t as pretty as some of the finished wood pizza peels but the dough doesn’t stick as bad and slides off easier into the oven. I bought two of these and then ordered another set of two because they work and the price is good. They’re great for making individual pizzas on

I got my husband a pizza oven, and quickly realized that we needed wooden pizza peels. I think we have five or six of these ones, now, and they’re great.
I will give a warning, though. Try to expose them to water for a little time as possible. The layers of wood start to buckle if you even take the time to soap them up and rinse them well. I tried to scrub them down while they’re dry, using a dry scrub brush, to get any stuck on bits of. Then do a very quick swipe with a soapy sponge, very quick rinse, then immediately dry them with a towel.

I’ve got a pizza stone in my Gourmia French-door air-fryer convection-oven just for making pizzas and this pizza peel fits in there perfectly. Fits Drafthaus, Motor City Pizza Co, and Digornio pizzas perfectly. Cleans easily enough. I spray mine down occasionally with olive oil and then wipe it off to seal and lubricate it. Really only need one so I gave the other one away.

Got it on sale, so I guess it was worth the cost, but I wouldn’t consider this a high quality product. It has some chips, and splinters, and it says not to wash with soap, but I feel like that means it would never be clean.
It works though, so far. I took a pizza in and out of the oven, and yea, it does its job. So if you want a simple tool to serve its purpose, this works. It’s just nothing special, and I don’t feel like I spent too much to be invested in it.

The only issue I’ve had was this is made out of plywood. The plywood separated at the end in the of the PEEL. It was an easy fix for me because I’m a dooer. I would recommend a solid wood Peel. I think after using this some, the end of this Peel will separate. I’m not sending back but just be aware it’s plywood. Don’t get the metal Peels, the dough sticks to the metal Peels when trying to place your pie in the pizza oven.

Have friends and family stand in a line to make their own personal pizza. Get in line before putting it in the ooni. I gave 9 of these for pizza night.
