I just finished brushing one of my cats today with a brush I purchased on Amazon last month. I thought this brush was the best brush I have every used on my cats. I brushed Cali for a solid half hour today and thought I had done a great job and there would be no more hair to shed. The EquiGroomer brush arrived later in the day and my wife used the brush on Cali. To both of our amazement, we would have never known that we brushed her at all today. The EquiGroomer got hair that was deep down and it wasn’t just a small amount, globs of hair came off of her. She is a short hair Calico and we live in Arizona and she shed everyday. We hope now that we have the EquiGroomer brush that we won’t find her hair all over everything from our clothes to our furniture. I totally recommend this brush to anyone who has a cat and who can’t get shedding under control.

I just got my Equigroomer today and I really like it. My cat (domestic shorthair) loves being brushed so it’s become a daily bonding activity. Despite the frequency I would brush out kitten-sized mounds of fur each session. That old brush broke and when I saw this one I didn’t think this it would be amazing or anything but I figured I’d give it a try.Turns out my old brush was still missing tons of fur. After a bit of trial and error I found that short strokes gets me the best results. The sound the brush makes sounds more abrasive than it actually is. My cat loves this brush just as much as the old one.My only complaint is that unlike my old brush, which had a similar design to the Furminator, the gaps in between the teeth of the Equigroomer’s blade aren’t deep enough to trap fur as you brush. It was nice to be able to brush for a bit and then pull the fur from the brush. The Equigroomer is great for gathering loose fur in a pile on your cat but then you have to put the brush down and collect it. It’s a particular challenge for me because my cat starts grooming herself if she feels like too much fur has gathered on her back. Overall it’s not a huge problem, just something I have to get used to.

I bought this because the younger cat was shedding a lot. Not only is this working to remove the younger cat’s shedding fur (She kept wanting to play and go up to the window where her shedding fur will blow into my face, so I’ve only done some so far – her fur heart on the left side in photo 2), but it shined up and softened the elderly cat’s coat TREMENDOUSLY.Even when she became an adult, she always had kitten-soft, silky fur. As time flew by, her coat gradually lost some of that soft glossiness, especially in recent years. My family assumed it was more dry due to age and health (became depressed and overweight after our elderly dog friend passed on [until we got the kitten, which brought her out of her deep grief and get back into shape again] + she had a major operation), but none of those were the case.I then assumed it was due to her new, somewhat spotty, self-grooming routine, despite how we were often brushing her. She never was much of a shedder, but I noticed she didn’t shed much anymore. So I looked for a good recommendation to a deshedder tool, and Girl with the Dogs videos showed me how well Equigroomer worked.I wish I had a before photo, because the results are amazing and absolutely wonderful. Not only is our feline grandma’s coat shiny, but she’s back to being silky and as soft as a kitten again! If that isn’t enough for you, here’s a photo of her after her therapeutic grooming session! For the first half of her body, she was purring and purring, rubbing against the Equigroomer (I turned it each time so she rubbed her face against the wood because the long way is a bit sharp similar to a jigsaw blade when you feel along the teeth), then she stretched out as though she were at a massage parlor and fell asleep to my grooming the second half of her body. She looks and feels wonderful. Thank you, Equigroomer!

This is the best de- shedding thing I have ever purchased, and I have purchased many. Better than a shedding blade, better than a furminator.I have a pitbull, and while they are not known for shedding, he is working on being an overachiever in this area. His velvet, short coat sticks to clothes and upholstery and is very difficult to dislodge. In addition, he is an itchy boy. The equigroomer just peels off the fur with the gentlest of strokes. My dog, who really is not a fan of brushing, truly enjoys the process.Piles of little short loose hairs and skin flakes are dislodged, absolute piles and stacks of hair. The one caveat is that the grooming tool does not gather up the loose hair as a traditional brush does. It just loosens it from the dogs or cats coat, and it fluffs about. I found working on the kitchen floor or outside to be the best plan.As a side note, I have severe arthritis in my hands, and this grooming tool is very easy to hold and use. The shape is ergonomic and easy to hold.Highly, highly recommended.

I saw this product off of a youtuber called Girl with the Dogs (she’s phenomenal and her videos are very calming). She uses it on all types of animals (yes, not just dogs) and I was really impressed with the results she was getting so I decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did. I have a 15 year old Maine Coon who is slowing down and doesn’t bathe the way she used to and I have a 4 year old tabby. This brush works on both cats though it’s definitely gotten more hair off of the tabby as his coat is shorter. The amount of shedding that I was unaware he did is insane. I could make two other cats with how much hair I get off of him. I’ve now began brushing them both every two weeks with this brush to keep my apartment a little less full of hair. I love that it doesn’t pull on their fur, it’s not heavy and it doesn’t scratch them like those heavy duty combs sometimes do if you press down too hard. The only complaint is that there’s no way to collect the hair so it does blow around a bit when you get a bunch off. I’ve taken to vacuuming afterwards to make sure I don’t have clumps lying around.

Logras lo mismo con una segueta.
Es un articulo muy muy caro para lo que logra, si lo quieres hacer a tu modo, podrias usar una segueta en su lugar con un buen mango por una fraccion del precio.

Equigroomer
Beste Investition meines Lebens!

Brushed my cat, and three cats came out.
We’ve tried several grooming brushes for our cats, none of which hold a candle to the EquiGroomer. I was skeptical of this thing, but after watching it in action on Girl With The Dogs’ YouTube channel, we decided to give it a shot. The first time we brushed our cats, it was shocking. The sheer amount of hair that came off was enough to create multiple cats. I didn’t think it was possible. We’re still figuring out the best schedule to brush our cats, as they do shed a lot. However, it’s good to see that this brush works as advertised, and we’re looking forward to less hair on…..well…..everything.

Great for rabbits
Tried this on my rabbit and it works so well! My bunny hates being brushed so I try to do it as quickly as possible. With other combs it is not as effective as this one, great purchase 🙂

Endlich was, was funktioniert
