I am writing this review over a month and a half of daily use. I use mine for daily coffee. While I still have a “Ninja” inside the house, which replaced a unit that wasn’t brewing as hot… Now the Ninja isn’t as hot as it was…
I’ve found that this product has it’s benefits, that I will continue to use as my primary brew method.
The reason I am going to keep using this is because of the flavor, and the temperature of the coffee. The percolator needs a boil to brew, and could take a little longer than the traditional pour over machines, but I find it’s worth the wait, if you can juggle the brew. I have a gas stove located right by my workspace, so this is right there, as I work.
The percolator and components are easy to clean, and quite frankly, when you’re boiling, you’re killing the germs etc, so I clean it when the coffee oil residue is noticeable, which about once a week I’ll do a dishwasher run. Other than that, like I said, the percolator is easy to clean, and previous brew rinses out easy. Hand can fit in the kettle easily to scrub if needed.
This is a simple, no frills percolator, great for camping, survival, or gas stove use.
A percolator for coffee and teas and such, or you can just boil or heat water.
I’m glad I made the purchase, as this is something that will last, and could be used countless times.
Pros:
-Affordable
-Durable and well made
-Gets your brews nice and HOT
-Built in screen ( I still use a standard coffee filter as the holes can let fine grinds through)
This built in filter would work better for course ground coffee.
Cons:
-Wood handle COULD get hot if flame is right under it… I tend to pull the kettle back some to keep the flame mostly on the spout end… Then I can hold the handle and carefully pour the kettle as is without a heat pad to hold it… If you roast that handle side, you will need that heat pad! I’ve done this once.
-Time to brew is not as fast but the trade off is hotter coffee
-It is not self cleaning
-Coffee not included ☕

Takes ages to percolate (20-30 minutes at times) and it doesn’t make strong coffee. In fact it doesn’t work at all unless you put in a certain minimum amount of water, but the guide doesn’t say that and there’s no marker on pot. Would work for someone who liked weak coffee and needed to serve a lot of people. Materials are great.

For that price I expected better quality pot. You cannot see how much water is inside the pot. The wood handel is not solid and it may catch fire on the gas stove.

Does what it is supposed to do. Great quality product.

Love the styling and function. Only drawback is I was surprised at how hot wood handle gets.

Handle a little hot, need a oven mitt to handle, but not a issue at all. Beautiful kettle.

I like the percolator, inspecting all the parts, the weight, and any imperfections. Specifically like the heft and size, packed well and with instructions.
After a wash and towel dry, tomorrow morning’s coffee will be a treat. Electric percolators only wash the coffee once and you throw away so much flavor and strength.
I will be updating this review very soon. But so far, very nice!
My second observation: The instruction booklet was extremely vague and poorly written, as if by someone without a serious command of the English language and sentence structure.
Next, no specifics on the amount of water to coffee ratio. For people who have never made coffee in a stove percolator, this would be extremely important. None was given. I am not a novice.
Thus far, I remain reasonably optimistic that this percolator will deliver, given the price. Does anyone know where this was made? More to follow.
This morning, August 11, 2022, finally made that all-important first coffee. I am enjoying my first cup as I write this final review. My father had a stove percolator when I was a boy, but he boiled his coffee too strong. Knowing when to stop is just as important as how much water to coffee. And I don’t drink my coffee from those small store-bought mugs, mine hold a good 18oz. which allows for further steeping, and no, they are not glass but ceramic from Pfaltzgraff. I am watching the steam radiate from the mug, which further indicates a great temperature for driking.
Final analysis: rich, bold, aromatic flavor. I like Yuban coffee, Traditional Roast, which gives a balanced flavor, not too bitter as strong dark roast, and not too light as other coffees. And I had a Keurig, which was the same as an electric percolator which runs water through ONCE! Not the same as BOILING! Notice I said HAD. And the Keurig cups are way too expensive for something, “washed with hot water” once and thrown away. A WASTE!
In conclusion, I know this was a lot to read, but this IS my review as I even end my first wonderful mug of delicious coffee. For the price, not expensive, do not buy cheap, I think this is a winner. Great coffee to the very bottom of the mug! This is how you make and drink your coffee.
Enjoy, I did!

First, drop the filters. Not necessary! This percolator delivers a great mug, I said mug, not cup. A mug is 16 to 18oz. of steaming hot perfectly brewed coffee, first time every time. This is percolator is the real deal. Stainless steel for lasting beauty, heat retention, and a great MUG of coffee.
Not all of my reviews have been acceptable because I call products for their worth, but this is a real winner!
Open campfire or the stove, this is what you want for coffee in the morning, or any time!
