Somehow the little rubber doo-dad came off the metal valve and since then I couldn’t maintain pressure. Was about to get a new instant pot until I looked up the issue. This fixed it. Be sure to make sure you know if this will fit your instant-pot as they ARE different on different models!

Works as intended. Of course I found my original plastic piece in the lid of my grandson’s cup. Nevertheless, it’s good to have extras when it goes missing. Now if I can just remember where I put them when I need them…?

My Instant Pot has been a challenge from day one. It leaked through the valve area & didn’t seal well. I was usually able to get it to seal (eventually). Finally realized what I needed. Bought this & the seals work great. Immediately no problem.

If your instapot is showing signs of trouble, the float valve might be the culprit. Changing the float valve revived my instapot instantly.
